“An incredible stay in the heart of the Sahara”

We were welcomed with a beautiful lemon and mint cool drink and sweets. It literally sits on the edge of the dunes which were stunning. We had viewed so many different camps but we were glad we chose this one. The pool was so nice when you’re in 40 degree heat. You can sand board yourself when you want, book various excursions with the staff when you arrive too. We took the ATV to camp which took 10 minutes and was the best way in the heat. Camels are slow, bumpy and takes roughly 1.5 hours in 40 degree heat! We booked the sunrise camel trip which is absolutely beautiful, an absolute must, even if you are getting up at 5am! They took us out stargazing, it was absolutely unreal, and they’re pros at taking pictures for you to capture the Milky Way. We also got taken up the dunes in the ATV for sunset which was also unreal. Try to arrive at 5pm to relax and experience everything. The staff were helpful and dinner was lovely, just remember you don’t get to order off a menu. Tajine is king! The rooms were lovely, although hot in the day they cooled in the evening. The singing and dancing was great fun. It’s an all inclusive camp and an experience we’ll never forget. Our host could talk 8 difference language which was brilliant for all travelling guests from around the world. Lovely jubbly he say!

Really fun Sahara camp experience, a humerous host who could speak many languages. He also spent a lot of effort making sure everyone had a good time.

We were a family of four and had an absolutely amazing time at the camp. We loved the camel trip to the camp. The location of the camp is amazing and it feels very special. We hadn't planned to go on the 4WD trip, but decided to go and this was an absolute highlight. I would absolutely recommend this if you are there. It is not a touristic trip, but off the beaten track and Hassan was really knowledgeable and a great guide. The meal at his sister's was one of the best we've had in Morocco. We also did a quad trip which we enjoyed, but if you do only one thing, I would recommend the 4WD trip. The accommodation is very nice, but remember that you are in the desert and there is no AC, but it was fine for us and there is a cold pool to refresh yourself. The breakfast was great and we loved the "Berber whiskey". The drumming performance in the evenings were also great. An absolute highlight was getting up at 4am to see the stars and milky way - we even woke up the kids to go and see these. We had an unforgettable stay and really loved our time here.

We absolutely loved our stay and trip here! It was such a unique experience that we've never had before and the Sahara Majestic made this trip even better than it ever could have been! We stayed for 3 nights which is more than most people do, but we would have happily done more! Hassan and his team were incredible and so helpful, going out of their way to make our trip unforgettable! The food was amazing for every single meal and the facilities on the camp are the best you'll find in this area. We spent so much time prior to the trip trying to pick the right camp and are so happy we went with this one. The location is amazing, you are right next to the dunes, so as soon as you walk out of the camp you are amongst them. If you are planning on only staying for 1 night, I URGE you to stay for at least 2 so you can get a proper desert experience!

“Unforgettable desert experience with amazing food and staff”

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious!!! Especially the dinners, which were very large. We ate vegetarian, and everything was amazing. Breakfast also had both hot options and some other food to choose from. The camp is very nice and peaceful. Many people stay only one night, but we stayed for two and it still felt too short. Watching the sunrise on the dunes was an unforgettable experience - definitely worth waking up early before the tours start. You can choose how to get to the camp, either by camel or by car, which is a nice option. Stargazing with Hassan was great, and we also did a tour with him to visit nomads and see more than just the sandy desert - including fossils and the black desert, followed by lunch. It was a really interesting experience. The rooms are tents - not very big, but for two people it was comfortable, with a good bed. The shower was quite basic, but considering you are in the desert, it’s still nice to have one. We would happily stay there again.

“Amazing stay”

It was amazing, we’ve been 17 years ago but the experience then was way more basic than all the camps nowadays. I loved the fact that it was relatively small, only 8 tents. Although it is relatively close to other tent camps, it was located directly into a dune (unlike some others) so it had great atmosphere. Additionally the swimming pool from the well made a bog impression on the kids. And Hassan & colleagues were really nice, the tour to the nomadic village, fossil hunting and lunch wqs great. And we learned a lot about the berber culture.

We had an amazing experience in Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp! The tents have all facilities you need and are spacious. Looking at the other camps I think this is one of the best. Hassan took us on a tour to see the sunset and in the night we saw beautiful stars and even the milky way! Hassan was very friendly and nothing was too much to ask. We felt very welcomed. The dromedary tour was also lovely!

Hassan and other staff are all very nice and helpful. They gave us really good experience in the desert.

The staff is really welcoming and warm. It's not open desert, yet you have the chance to experience a bit of it. You don't have to expect the comfort of a hotel, but you have everything to be comfortable enough.

Everything was perfect. Great dinner, fantastic staff - Mohamed, Hassan, Ibrahim, everyone were great! The highlight for our trip was the bonfire music, and star spotting! We would definitely visit again.

Everything. Helpful amazing people. I read a thousand reviews before booking this luxury camp. It was perfect for my family. From hot water to food to location. You won’t be disappointed. I miss the people food and the warmth already.

I love the atmosphere at the camp. 😍. - If you can stand my observations until the end, you will find out why this camp has so many good reviews. - The owner of the camp Hassan is a professional host who, with his team, creates a REAL Moroccan atmosphere in the Sahara Desert! - Excellent buffet breakfast, a large selection of everything, you won't find any meat products anywhere, meat is probably not part of a Moroccan breakfast, as I found out after many days in Morocco .:) - Breakfast and dinner are included in the accommodation price. - Dinner is big, lots of meat, lots of everything, large portions, something different every day. - You will even get your own traditional Moroccan outfit with a hat and sandals, which will be ready for each bed. This outfit is worn by most visitors and creates a beautiful Moroccan atmosphere in the camp and is very warm at night.( no need towels) - Don't be afraid to ask Hassan about activities on your first day at the camp, if you pay him well, he will create absolutely perfect days for you with full private/VIP activities for adults and children, from a beautiful morning to a fairytale evening.🥰 We were there 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 6 year old girl and we all had fun for 3 days. - I have booked 2x2 camps in the Sahara in the past and cancelled my reservation because they forced me to pay hidden fees, which I absolutely hate. THIS camp is very fair, NO Moroccan scams, but European busses. After 7 days in Morocco you will know what I am talking about. 😃 . It is a safe environment for your family. - Hassan will take you from Merzouga to this camp for FREE and without waiting. :) (Other campsites charge for transport / 5 people / 15 minutes drive / 4 km / and back / 350 €. :( unbelievable / thieves !

I spent so much time searching for the perfect place to sleep in Sahara and I can tell you that we found the best! Staying at Sahara Majestic was the highlight of our Morocco trip! The whole team made their best to make our stay memorable! From the camel riding, to the food and stargazing at night, the experience exceeded all of our expectations! I just wish we could have stayed one more night.
