We had an amazing stay! The accommodation was excellent – the tent was beautiful, very spacious, and comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. On our first evening, there was live music in the camp, which made the atmosphere even more special. They picked us up by car and took us on a very exciting drive through the dunes – we really enjoyed it! We also booked a 4x4 safari and spent the whole day driving around in a jeep, including lunch, which was a fantastic experience. Another great plus is that there is no extra charge for transport to the camp. Highly recommended!

the host Omar is very nice and he makes everything happen for u - just trust him :) the only advise is to carry Cash because cards dont work in the desert area overall..

Omar and his whole crew are the definition of maroccan kindness, joy and hapiness and pride for their country which they share with you from the moment you arrive making the trip to Merzouga the highlight of our stay. Bonfires and singing at night, incredible excursions through the region with the jeep at day, dune Surfing, riding dromedars there is nothing you can not do here. Food is excellent, secure parking. We will be back for sure. شكرًا!

The place is just perfect, smaller, cozy camp site. Omar, the owner is super nice and friendly person. Nothing was a problem. All staff is very polite.

“Amazing experience.”

Very nice camp. We happened to be on our own on the night that we stayed there, so the owner helped us with booking the quads, he drove us to the place and then picked us up to take us to the camp. The quads really was the top experience for both us and our two children. Highly recommended. Funnily enough we got soaking wet on the way back from the quads trip as it rained like never in the last 15 years... just as we arrived from the experience to the camp they brought us a lovely welcome tea and a heater to warm ourselves up and dry ourselves. Very friendly. The dinner was almost 5 courses, delicious. The breakfast was amazing as well. Very nice. The room is very comfortable.

This place is a dream. I wish I had stayed longer. Omar and Mustafa are amazing young men and they were so good with my little boys. They organised a whole day for us while we were there, could not have asked for a better experience.

Everything!!! It was one of the best moments of my life so far what I spent here! Beautiful location very comfy too! The food was delicious and more than enough! And really like to highlight Omar and the staff hospitality. If You choose this camp you will have the best out of everything what the Sahara can give you and do not forget the slogan is THIS IS AFRICA!!! - you will understand this if you choose this camp 😉

Everything that is said about Omar is true! He is an amazing person, full of life, who did everything to keep us entertained. Omar took us on a ride through the Saharian dunes in his pick-up truck and the ride was simply amazing as I have never experienced such a thing. Omar was playing some local band in his car (Tikoubaoiune) whose music sounded exceptional (a mix of blues and local folk which I have never heard of). I found them on youtube and kept listening to their amazing tunes. The meal organized at the tents was delicious, though a bit on the heavy side, given the extreme temperatures. I can highly recommend this experience.

Mustafa and his family were very hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment at the Sahara camp.

The camp was luxurious, breakfast and dinner were great. Had a fun time with Omar doing the dune "roller coaster", Zaid brought us for the camel sunset ride and he certainly knew the best location for great shots. Mohamed was most informative when he brought on the 4x4W visit into the dunes and desert. Mutasfa was always smilely making sure we have alot to eat and drink.

“A good camp.”

My expectations were high ,since I had read all the stellar reviews...The camp is actually not as far as I thought from Mergouza. It did not feel like 15kms as its written at the description. The truth is that there are several camps near by, at an artificial location, full with planted trees and definitely away from the Dunes. It did not feel like being in the Sahara, but more like a camping surrounded by planted trees .. The camp is definitely organised, the facilities are good, the tent was large enough and the shower/toilet inside the tent is definitely a plus. However, I did not feel the cosy feeling I had last year at Wadi Rum, where a more ...basic camp made me feel special and well come. It's not about what was not there....it's how it felt, at least to me. The personnel were doing their best, the food was good too, no complaints for that. However, next time I will try to book somewhere more in the Dunes, and more remote.Omar was a good host and he tries hard to please his guests. He is full of life, and even when he tries too hard, it's all for entertaining his guests. He definitely tries to please them all, so he gets my gratitude.

What can we say? Omar, King of the Dunes!! Omar and all his staff are amazing. Everybody is super friendly and accommodating. Omar coordinated all the activities we were interested in, took us on amazing sand dune journeys in his Toyota to watch the sunset, helped us run a few errands (liquor store and pharmacy), etc. The meals were excellent, and they were happy to serve us outside for breakfast instead of the main tent, which was very kind. The music in the evening was also a fun highlight. There's Wi-Fi throughout the property (though the connection is best near the main tent). The tents are beautiful and spacious. There's plenty of hot running water for showers and a full bathroom. Overall, the stay was perfect and well worth the money, considering how attentive and fun Omar and his staff are.

Everything!! This camp is a really nice place, very curated in the details. The tent is big and well accesoriated. The bathroom is inside the tent and it's big. The water is hot! Breakfast and dinner are very delicious! Omar was so kind, available for any necessity and he took us to the sand dunes to see the sunset.
