“A place where you can rest your body, mind and soul.”

This is a riad run by a family. Once you step inside you are treated like family. You become one of the Ouattou's. They are there to make sure that nothing is missing and make your stay comfortable. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable with a large double bed and two singles, air-conditioning, a large bathroom tiled in the typical Moroccan Berber tiles. The dinner was really good with a tagine of exquisite beef, salads etc. Breakfast was good too. For those who visit in summer a large pool with sun loungers all around is a great break from the heat. But above all I was impressed by the respect and the love these guys show to all those who stay here.

“A modern hotel with a classic feel. Lovely, lovely staff.”

The location of this hotel was just perfect for us. The hotel is set back off the road and far enough from Merzouga to make it a peaceful oasis. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, Muhammed and his team do everything to make you feel at home. The young fellow who served us breakfast and dinner was so lovely and has a great sense of humour. Our room was spacious and clean but retained Moroccan authenticity. The bed was large and comfortable and the aircon perfect. The swimming pool, whilst not massive, is kept remarkably clean, as is the seating area. Breakfast was very much to our taste, well prepared, and served with a smile. Dinner tends to be a set meal, but if you have dietary issues or want something special, then speak to Muhammed, and he will do everything he can to help. If you want to partake in a desert trip or a sunset camel ride, I can highly recommend Muhammed to organise this for you at a good rate.accommodations. For motorcyclists, the hotel is very secure. If I were to return to Morocco, then this would definitely be one of my 'go-to' accommodations. Please note that this hotel does not serve alcohol. There is a small restaurant 5 minutes walk away that serves a great Berber Pizza.

Every employee, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping crew, goes above and beyond to make sure visitors have an enjoyable and memorable stay. They are polite, knowledgable, and always ready to assist with any needs or inquiries. I can't stress enough how highly I recommend this hotel. It is the ideal option for anyone looking for a cozy, practical, and memorable stay in the middle of the city.

“Excellent riad with swiming pool”

We stayed in Merzouga Riad Merzouga Dunes, and I must tell that I was extremely impressed! The motel is in an excellent position. The entire staff was really nice and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The room was large and clean, with a comfy bed and everything we needed. I especially enjoyed sitting on the rooftop deck and watching the sunrise and sunset. The hotel's restaurant was also excellent, featuring a wide range of traditional Moroccan and international foods. I highly recommend the tagine - it was delicious! Overall, I would strongly suggest the Merzouga Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasurable stay in Merzouga. Its good location, helpful staff, and pleasant rooms make it a wonderful choice for anybody visiting the area.

“Best Riad in Merzouga Desert”

We couldn't have imagined a finer setting to disengage from city stress and reconnect with nature. This is a brand-new family-owned and managed riad, elegantly built in traditional Berber style, with exceptionally big, comfy, and spotless rooms in an amazingly serene environment amid the Saharan golden dunes. View the dunes from the gorgeous rooftop, watch the sunset and enjoy the night sky while sitting on snug, comfortable divans, or relax in the scorching desert heat around the pool. The proprietors are really warm and welcoming. We were welcomed with a "Berber whisky" (which is really a tea) and other snacks upon our arrival. The brunch and tajine supper were both amazing. Mustafa has organized a tour to meet local nomads in their traditional communities, followed by a quad ride to witness the sunset from the top of the Dunes. We would absolutely stay here again and heartily recommend it.

We could not have dreamt of a better place to disconnect from the stress of cities and connect with nature. This is a brand-new family owned and managed riad, tastefully decorated in local Berber style with super spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms in incredibly peaceful setting near Saharan golden dunes. You can view the dunes from the stunning rooftop, watch the sunset and enjoy the night sky lounging in cozy, comfy divans or chill around the pool in the hot desert sun. The owners are very friendly, and hospitable people. Upon arrival we were greeted with a “Berber whisky” which is actually a tea) and some refreshments. The breakfast was delicious as well as the tajine dinner. Mustafa has arranged for us a trip to visit local nomad people in their traditional settlements and later a quad to see the sunset from the top of the Dunes. We would definitely stay again and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Merzouga Riad Merzouga Dunes and I have to say, I was very impressed! The hotel is located in a great location. The staff members were all incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and all the things we needed. I particularly loved the rooftop terrace, where I could sit and watch the sunrise and sunset. The hotel's restaurant was also fantastic, with a great selection of traditional Moroccan dishes and international cuisine. I especially recommend trying the tagine - it was delicious! I had the excellent pleasure to stay at this fantastic Riad in Merzouga, which is just a short walk from the beautiful sand dunes. The hosts were really kind and attentive to our requirements. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfy, providing a luxurious refuge after a day of exploring. I was extremely pleased for their assistance in scheduling a last-minute activity: dawn quad riding. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I really suggest this hotel to everyone visiting Merzouga. The genuine warmth of the hosts, together with the clean and comfortable accommodations, make it an excellent choice.
