“Low cost, high quality, calm accomodation”

Kind host, willing to help us with anything, large tasty breakfast, clean bathrooms, comfotable tent for sleeping with good isolation (even though it was winter, in tent there was still quite good temperature), nice calm location outside of the main load of tourists, but still close enough to enjoy dunes and everything from Merzouga

I absolutely LOVED this stay from my room/tent to the food. Everything was really perfect. - there's hot water in the shower - breakfast is a beautiful big spread - in a quiet neighborhood near the center - walkable from the dunes - The night sky was incredible The host speaks English and was very kind. They did not push for any tours only shared the info when I asked. The host was very thoughtful and came to pick me up as i was reaching late in the evening and he figured i might find it challenging to walk alone. It was very kind of him. My only regret is not staying here longer.

The camp is located a 20min walk from Merzouga and relativly good to find. The Host is super welcoming and friendly. He was easy to talk to but also not trying to sell many tours etc. We arrived late at 21pm and even got cooked a huge, tasteful diner (we couldnt even finish it as two persons). The breakfast was also very nice and everything you could expect for this price. In the daytime you can easily walk to the dunes and enjoy the nature there. The bathroom was very clean and has showers included. We would book this again for sure.

“Cheap adventure with the most delicious food”

We had visited Morroco several times since 2008 so we have got some experience. We booked a tent for 4 persons at Nomad Bivouac for 1 night only as we wanted to spend night at desert again. The price was very low with brealfast included. We had no idea what we should expect. It was easy to find location by sat nav. The place had been located in small village. All tents were surrounded by wall so we felt very safe. We had been greeted by Hassan who offered us a/c room at aditional payment as temperature was over 46 C deg. However we decided to stay in tent just for adventure. Our tent was clean, spacious, with 4 beds ready for us, light and electric power socket. We could use 2 toilets and 2 showers at the other tent ( no issues with cleanliness). Hassan was very kind offering us camela and 4x4 rides but we did not needed them. He was very polite and unobtrusive at all. We accepted dinner at MHD 120/person and Hassan served it at agreed time convenient to us. It was the best point of our stay as it was the most delicious dinner which we ever had had in Morocco - salad, tajin with chicken, Berbere traditional tajin with meet balls and eggs on top, big plates of fruits. The same happened at breakfast - it was increadible good comparing with any one we had had before. The night was wonderful as the place was very quite with no donkey and roosters. Even muzein was calling for prayers somewhere far away. Thus you could hear nothing but your thoughts and your snorring companions. We definitely recomend Nomad Bivouac to all of you.

The host was very welcoming and knowledgable on the local area, including organising a tour in the desert on a very short notice. He welcomed us very late in the evening and even provided us dinner. Very nice alternative experience to staying in one of the larger camps in the desert.
