Ali was an amazing host. He helped us to organise our trip to the desert and also visiting Merzouga surroundings. The property was very spacious and comfortable.

Ali and Fatima are wonderful hosts. The apartment was really clean, very comfortable, and hugely spacious. It was kitted with everything we could need, AC in every room, plenty of hot water. The location is perfect - easy walk to shops, plenty of restaurants nearby and the bakery a few doors down for fresh bread each morning. Ali can organise all the trips for you for a very reasonable price. Don't be fooled into thinking you have to spend a fortune to stay in the desert camps - here was perfect and we did everything that we could possibly have wanted to do (camels, sand boarding, flamingo lake, 4x4 tour, sunset, visiting nomad camps and Khamlia village to listen to their music, going to the fossil mines). We were welcomed into Fatima and Ali's home (next door to the apartment) - Fatima makes the most delicious Berber pizza and even catered for allergies and vegan preferences (thank you!). We had our own car (not a 4x4) and could easily drive to the lake and to the base of the dunes to find our own spots for sand boarding and sunset. I recommend getting up early and watching the sun rise from the roof terrace - there's a perfect view of dunes. Thanks Ali and Fatima - we hope to come back!

Apartment is amazing big! Close to the dunes, market, and restaurants. It's well decorated and very spacious. Ali is a very friendly and hospitable host that help us to book tour to the desert, to find transportation to Fez and even invite us to eat dinner with them!

“I feel safe and comfortable in this apartment, my favorite place in Morocco”

The host gave me a warm welcome upon arrival and on New Years Day, and I felt at home in the ground level apartment. I was happy to see a small print of my Morocco painting attached to the hallway entrance! As an artist inspired by the people and culture of Morocco, I worked on some new art here!

Wonderful large apartment in Merzouga with gorgeous views of the dunes. The apartment is very modern, to western standards. The host Ali made sure we were well taken care of. His wife Fatima cooked yummy tagine which we shared at her home. We highly recommend this place.

We were doubting at first where to stay overnight in Merzouga and we saw this place was good looking! ✨ We decided to book and it was exactly as you can see from the pictures! A very luxurious family apartment with high quality and clean rooms! Overall, I should remark the hospitality of Ali and his team of coworkers! 🙌🏻 They made our stay unforgottable showing us around the dunes of the Sahara with the camels 🐪🐪 , teaching us some local songs at night around a bonfire and driving us in the morning into a lake and a berber village! 🚗🚗 We highly recommend to book your stay with them 🧡 PS: Can you send us the recipe of the berber pizza? 😀😀 Hugs for all the team! “A fantastic adventure with Ali!”

The apartment is really nice and comfortable! It is a perfect base to explore Sahara, especially with the host like Ali! He can take care of everything you might need, and Ali Adventures is the best way to see the desert. Unfortunately, we only had one night in Merzouga, but it was not an issue for Ali, and he organised so many activities for us! We had a beautiful and exciting drive through the desert, including panoramic views, sandboarding, watching sunset, dinner, and music at Berber camp, and stargazing while listening to desert stories. Make sure to stay with Ali to have a great Berber experience in Sahara!

We chose this apartment because we know the owner from a previous stay in Erg Chebbi. He is born here and the love for the desert is in his blood. That’s what makes the experience in this house very special. When you arrive at the apartment house you are warmly welcomed and guided to your room. The house is very new and our room was really spacious and very clean. The location is very good for all activities in the desert. From our apartment we had a wonderful view to the dunes. There is also a lovely and peaceful garden where you can sit and enjoy thé à la menthe. The owner is very helpful if you have any questions. He can also organize camel trips or 4x4 trips to the desert, to Rissani or wherever you want to go. Nothing is impossible. We can highly recommend this place if you want to spend some days in Merzouga in a private atmosphere and want to avoid the big hotels.
