What a nice place to stay in Hassilabiad/Merzouga! I clearly recommend this Appart Hotel as it is value for money with nice, clean rooms at a great location. The best is the friendliness of the stuff and an amazing breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. Don’t hesitate to book:)

“Excellent couldn't have asked for anything better.”

The Hassilabiad was in a great location for doing dessert tours etc. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. It had seating, beds, a separate shower room and separate toilet too plus air conditioning and a fridge freezer. It overlooked lovely gardens with seating and tables. There was a good swimming pool with comfortable sunloungers plus tables and seating. There was also a roof terrace with tables and seating that had excellent views. Breakfast very good, plentiful and good variety. Dinner menu had various options and the food was good. Plus the staff modified slightly to our request due to certain dietry requirements. The hotel booked a Jeep tour for us and the price was reasonable. The vehicle was very good and comfortable compared to what we had on a jeep desert safari in another country. The guide/driver Hussain was excellent and couldn't have been nicer. He made the trip very interesting and educational at the same time as being fun. All the staff at Hassilabiad were excellent and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They made us feel welcome and at home. Like we were friends not just customers. If we return to the area again we will stay with them again.

Perfect Hotel for a trip to the sahara. The dunes are in walkable distance and the apartments had a lot of space and everything you need. It was also very clean. The staff was extremly friendly and helped with organizing tours. The breakfast was very good and fresh. Dinner was also very tasty. We would definitely book again!

Everything was fantastic ! The service is exceptional. I cannot find a negative point. The food in the restaurant was great and the room was also very clean and comfortable.

Our stay at this hotel in Merzouga was absolutely excellent. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the staff were all incredibly helpful. We arrived in the evening and were greeted with complimentary tea, followed by a delicious dinner featuring traditional Moroccan dishes as well as continental options for the kids. After dinner, we went for a peaceful walk to watch the stars — such a magical experience in the desert! The next morning, we woke up early for a camel ride at sunrise, which was unforgettable. When we returned, a fabulous breakfast was waiting for us. The place is beautiful and truly feels like home. It’s a real shame we could only stay for one night. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Merzouga!

We stayed at this desert hotel and had an amazing time. The manager was extremely welcoming and helpful — he even helped us book a desert tour, which was a fantastic experience. There's great parking near the hotel, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the food was excellent. At night, the stars were absolutely breathtaking. 10/10, highly recommend!

“Great stay!”

We really loved our stay here, Hassan and Ismail were very welcoming and made us feel completely at home. We got some tea and cookies when we arrived. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was great and plenty. The room was big and clean. And they even did our laundry! The hotel is walking distance from the sand dunes. We only stayed one night since we had booked our stay in a desert camp beforehand, but could have easily stayed longer. They also let us leave our car in their parking during our stay in the desert camp. Overall, highly recommend to stay here in Merzouga!

Amazing stylish apartment with two stores and a terrace. Aircon was convenient for heating bedrooms. The staff was very kind. They arranged for us a jeep desert drive despite of our late arrival. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Definitely recommended! We would come back, for sure!

Everything , the staff was super friendly haloed with everything , gave is breakfast after the hours , we were tired and woke up late , but still recieved the best of it ! It is the best place in Merzouga , as its a little toen with only 1500 people so u really want to visit this place ! ( airco everythign works just fine )

“Wonderful and welcoming, great facilities, perfect stay in comfort near the desert.”

A wonderful experience close to Merzouga, in the adjoining village as you approach. This is a new build done in a modern Moorish style but very sensibly. Large, cool corridors, generous size rooms, nice little hideaways to read a book or sip tea. We had a 1-night break after a stay in the desert camp and I cannot recommend this enough. The family suite was excellent, has A/C, it even has a washing machine. The staff are wonderful. We asked for a tip on where to go nearby to watch the sunset and he said follow me, I can drive you somewhere nice. It was only 10-15 min but it shows their approach. The breakfast was more like brunch, enormous amounts of food. We did not eat in their restaurant in the evening (and regretted it) but on arrival after dinner they gave us complimentary tea on the terrace, in addition to one earlier in the day.
