We had a truly lovely stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, and the food exceeded all our expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique desert experience.

“Lovely experience in the desert”

Beautiful camp on the foot of the Sahara. From the camp you can walk straight up the dunes. In this area buggies or quads are not allowed in the desert, you can have a true tranquil experience, amazing. You can do a camel ride but you really don't need them. You can just go up the dunes and explore the area for yourself (and animal friendlier too ;-) The tent is beautiful and large, with very comfortable bed and even equipped with a hair dryer and AC when needed. The bathroom and toilet were spacious, new and very clean. Wifi worked very well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They share tips and experiences for even outside Merzouga. I had a minor incident (fully my mistake) and they were very attentive and caring, checken in later. Food was delicous, both breakfast and dinner. They provide a lot of food and options (for breakfast), almost too much to eat and to choose from. The communal tent is also nicely decorated and everything breathes a relaxing vibe. They provide sandboards to slide from the dunes and have nice places with hammock to relax in the camp. We really enjoyed ourselves here and enjoying the calmness of the area. Reading a book in the schade while a camel is munching on grass just 10meters away. Tip to set your alarm to see the sunrise on the dunes. Would be even better if you could bring tea to enjoy in the morning. Oh and accessible by normal car. A bumpy road but totally doable.

“A Perfect Desert Experience”

We had a truly special night at Dihya Desert Camp! The camel ride was unforgettable, and the food was absolutely delicious. I was impressed by how fast the Wi-Fi was — not something you expect in the desert! The location is easy to reach by regular car and just a short distance from the big dunes, which makes it perfect for exploring. There were sandboards available for some fun on the dunes, and the restaurant’s unique décor gave everything a cozy, authentic touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole stay even better. Highly recommend Dihya Desert Camp.

“Magical luxury camp stay”

The camp is beautifully laid out and positioned right next to the sand dunes for easy access to see the sunset and sunrise; both a must do experience. The facilities are all super; the camp uses solar power so there’s electricity in every tent and an en suite with a fantastic hot water shower. The staff were super friendly and attentive and we loved spending time with them in the evening by the camp fire playing music, chatting with them other guests and looking at the amazing night sky. it was easy to book activities or to just grab a sand board and give that a go! We stayed for 2 nights and did a private tour of the desert which was fab, as well as a camel ride to watch the sunset. We were also happy that there weren’t other camps close by - we could enjoy watching the sun rise in a private setting. Thank you for the staff for going the extra mile to make our engagement in the desert extra special!
