There was an issue with our booking, but the manager arranged a room in a hotel nearby. The hotel we actually ended up staying with is called suerte loca.

“Clean and beautiful rooms in a friendly environment just a step away from Sahara desert.”
As part of our road trip to Morocco, we picked Dar Lola for our accommodation to Merzouga, due to the its location and price. While our 2 night stay we enjoyed the beautiful Moroccan style rooms, the really tasteful breakfast and dinner dishes and mostly the kindness, the hospitality and the friendly environment that Hussein had created for all his guests. Special credits also to Omar, the friendly staff of Dar Lola, who made everything easy for us. Tip: If you are going to arrive later than 20:00 and wish to have dinner at Dar Lola, just call or message Hussein earlier so that he prepares his nice dishes for you!

Hassan was amazing. As usual we booked our trip to the Sahara desert at short notice. Once we booked Dar Lola and made contact with Hassan, he was very calm and arranged every thing else for us. What a star he was. My whole family had a great time and loved our desert experience In Merzouga! The hotel had a real family and homely feel to it, and it is right next to the dunes, which was great!
