“Short stopover.”
Close to town. We stayed twice on our way to and from Tioman Island. We left our suitcases there. The first night we stayed the room was small and uncomfortable on our way back the room was superb. Large, comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and, as there are so few hotels in Mersing, as close to just about the only pub that served beer (something 48) and good food to boot.

Convenient for bus station / ferry. 1 person room on ground floor without a proper window was very sketchy but I slept ok before my bus early in the morning

It’s located close to the main bus station. And town. Their free shuttle service to the ferry terminal is fantastic and makes life a lot easier.

It was conveniently located to city snd bus station and they provided a free transport service to the ferry.

“Great”
It’s friendly and quiet. Generally clean and you can safely park your car there while you go into the islands with a cost of RM10/ day. They even provide free shuttle to and fro the jetty.

“Solo traveller to Tioman”
Great location of you're getting the ferry to Tioman Island. It's only a 10 minute walk away from the Jetty. I believe they also offer a shuttle. The room was well sized and clean. Lots of restaurants around and a launderette across the street.

The room is clean and has all the basic facilities you need. Hairdryer, towel, soap was provided, bottled water, a few hangers. There's a tv if you need it. I would suggest that they use refillable shampoo and soap
