The friendliness at check in. Room was clean and upgraded free of charge.

The staff were friendly.

The lodge is very cosy, the room very nice, large, very well kept and clean. We stopped just one night in transit, so we cannot say anything about the surrounding places and attraction, but we had a very good rest in this place, which is very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful view and a good quality mattress with clean sheets. Thats all I care about at a hotel and they nailed it. Good deal at around $200 too. One of the most affordable options for the last leg of the drive to Vancouver.

Restaurant for breakfast was very good and especially real dishes and silverware no paper.

The Front Desk Manager was friendly and apologetic about the remote for tv. Room was a decent size.

Decent place for budget overnight stay if you are traveling from Lake Louise/Golden to Vancouver or Seattle. Spacious room, kitchen, balcony.

The manager was very helpful and willing to be over for a late check in.

The place is old and tired which is not a big deal. But it’s dirty. The filth behind the bed headboard is disgraceful. Piles of dust, hair and garbage.

Older style motel but clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

Easily accessed from the Coquihalla Highway, this "vintage" property from Merritt's resource town years, is located on the old "motel row" on the south side of town. It's definitely dated, but in a charming way, with ranch styling. The check in was friendly and pleasant. The walkup kitchenette room (more like suite) was spacious, clean, quiet, with upgraded features and well maintained. But the building security is light, basically a single lock on the room (altho I understand there is a resident manager on the main floor). This is a property for folks travelling through, who don't mind logging trucks down the road.

Super motel, very clean and excellently comfy beds (very firm) A warm welcome and Tim Hortons coffee in the rooms. Good location and Chloes diner next door for breakfast.
