“The BEST place to stay in Merano!”
Villa Bregenz was the main reason our stay in Merano was so enjoyable. The lovely owner, Verena, has created a stunning oasis in the heart of town - with all you could ever need right at your doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed the incredibly clean accommodation, which came with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom - all amenities were recently renovated and brand new. The apartment is next to several bus stops, down the street from the Therme, a one-minute walk from the Promenade and main pedestrian areas, a ten-minute walk from the train station, and easy walking access to numerous hiking trails. There is a small shopping centre directly across the road with a well-stocked supermarket and DM [drugstore]. Yet despite being a stone's throw away from literally everything, the flat was very quiet, and we slept like babies thanks to the comfy bed! Verena was a fantastic host and was available whenever we had any questions - she truly made us feel at home, and thanks to her, we had a wonderful holiday in South Tyrol!
