“A lovely stay”

Good location - Nestled just off the Brunnenplatz —hop on Bus #1 or #3 and disembark at Brunnenplatz / Piazza Fontana, and you’re just moments away from the hotel! From the hotel, it is a delightful 15-minute stroll to the heart of Meran, or catch a convenient bus from Brunnenplatz if you prefer. The hotel is also perfectly positioned along the scenic Sissiweg trail, leading you on a lovely walk to the Trauttmansdorff Gardens. The hotel has a beautifully landscaped garden and heated pool. The hotel is also complete with a lift- great for travelers with heavy suitcases! The room is comfortable and clean, equipped with the amenities you need for your stay. Serves excellent breakfast. The host is friendly and helpful. A fun fact —The hotel is originally built by Dr. Tappeiner for his beloved daughter—and its just a stone's throw from Dr. Tappeiner's former residence (which is now privately owned by the Brunnenplatz)! The hotel also offers the guest travel pass around Sudtirol which comes super handy.

Very comfy bed and great breakfast. Heated swimming pool was very nice extra after travelling for a whole day.

“Superb hotel with fantastic restaurant and excellent food, ambiance and staff”

A beautiful building in a quiet area at the top of the hill, but not too far from town and very accessible. Family owned, the mother is still working and the daughter looks after reception and makes you feel very welcome. The dining experience was sublime, from the very high end and immaculate setting, to excellent food (four or five changing courses with two main course options). The desert are in a served buffet area and it felt very quaint and you could have lots of small amounts if you wished. Breakfast buffet superb. A kind of new 'old fashioned standards' hotel, but in a very good way. Merano is beautiful and if I return with my wife I'd stay here again and also eat there too. Salad then soup then a divine souflee then main then deserts, all for set price of 25 euro and in a beautiful restaurant with excellent staff and personal touches from the owners. It was superb. I loved it.

“Perfect place to stay!”

A perfect place to stay! Unfortunately, I was on a drive through to the south of Italy. But this was a great place to stop. It started with a personal touch. I would love to come back but to stay for more than only one night! The garden is amazing.

Lovely hotel in beautiful gardens, excellent breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For my first visit to Merano, getting around was a little challenging however made easier with tourist card that covered the local buses and discounts/entry to some attractions

They hotel is in a lovely location just outside Merano just a 10 minute walk into centre.staff were really nice and the hotel is really clean every where. Best hotel we stayed in on the hole trip .

Extremely nice atmosphere, you immediately feel welcome. Breakfast is superberb! The hotel garden and pool ist just amazing. Sauna facilities excellent and clean.
