Perfect little family run hotel. The staff is really friendly, the location is top. All around really good experience, we would come back here for a longer stay!

The personal was very friendly, the location and services, including the breakfast, are vey good.

We had a nice room with a spacious balcony and a bit of a mountain view. Breakfast and cocktails in the bar were quite good :)

“Great views and great pool”

We loved our stay here. The hotel had a great view and a great heated pool. The parking was good too. The staff were really friendly, and the breakfast was a good selection. The little touches of the hotel like free bike use, free passport stamps and a large balcony made our stay.

“Better than expected”

We had a good experience staying at Salgart. The outdoor heated swimming pool with its stunning mountain views made all the difference. The staff and Hillebrand family were very friendly, they even surprised me by placing a candle and a birthday card on our table, which made the occasion feel special. We also loved exploring the beautiful city of Merano using the bikes provided free of charge. Staying at Salgart for my birthday trip was truly an unforgettable gift.

The Personnel, the location, the room, basically everything was really good. The breakfast was well organised and there was a good choice of different things for different people. The location was only 15 minutes by foot from the centre of Meran. Very peaceful location

“Peaceful week at Hotel Salgart”

Beautiful family run hotel in a tranquil neighbourhood of Merano. Cosy feeling with modern amenities. We visited at the end of October when the weather was still warm enough to take a dip in the pool which is heated in the winter months. Its definitely worth opting for the breakfast… food was excellent and the view of the sunrise on the mountains was a serene start to our day. Looking forward to our next visit - just hope this place remains a secret!

Fantastic family run hotel. Delicious breakfast, beautiful heated pool. Super clean, modern and everything worked. Beautiful views. An easy 20 mins walk from the town.

Nice location and view, good wáter in the swimming pool

Beautiful rooms, big balcony, the breakfast view and the new pool of course. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, which made it even more enjoyable for us.

The location, the cleanliness

We so enjoyed our stay! Everything was very modern and high spec. The swimming pool was warm and we used it every evening. The views from the balcony were incredible. Best of all were the evening meals, which were five courses of health tyrolean food with desert creations. We usually eat out at restaurants in town but Hotel Salgart were so much better. And the staff were wonderful!

“Perfect stay with awesome breakfast”

Nice and clean room with a spacious balcony. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing, so many things to choose from, fresh and delicious! Really enjoyed starting our day every morning with a swim in the pool with the scenic mountainous landscape around the hotel area being the cherry on top. Looking forward to another stay at Hotel Salgart soon!

“Hotel Salgart is located in an idyllic and yet central area. Easily accessible by car.”

The room was very clean, modern decor and spacious. A good sized terrace overlooking the heated pool and well cured gardens with views to the surrounding mountains and apple groves. The bathroom is modern with a wide walk in shower. A big plus was the sauna which we were not aware of. The breakfast was ample. Large variety of bread. The staff is very attentive and ready to accommodate. The walk to the center of Merano was about 15mins through pleasant roads with beautiful houses along the way. We also walked to Trauttmansdorff but then we are good walkers. I have no idea how public transport works in the area.

It was a very lovely stay. The staff is really attentive. The view and the pool amazing. The breakfast offered a great variety or fresh food!

“Excellent”

Lovely civilised hotel with an older clientele. Great sized comfortable rooms, plenty of choice for breakfast with allocated table. Parking free and easy to find a space. Beautiful gardens and views, with added bonus of a swimming pool. Easy walking distance to town. Tanner pizzeria and restaurant up the hill is worth a visit.
