Overview
Set in an Art Nouveau building situated 800 metres from the historic centre of Merano, Hotel Kolping offers a pool and a garden. Consisting in a buffet, breakfast is served in the Kolping’s breakfast room. Open for dinner, the restaurant prepares national classics and South Tyrol recipes. Reached by a lift and facing either the town or the mountains, air-conditioned rooms are fitted with wooden floors, a satellite TV and free WiFi. Some of them offer a balcony, while all have a bathroom with bath tub or shower and a hairdryer. In the surrounding guests will find a range activities like hiking and walking nature trails, horse riding, golf and canoeing. A bus stopping just opposite the property takes you to Merano Train station.

Beautiful, modern and clean pool and spa area. Clean, light and spacious room with a balcony with a mountain view. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk to the centre of Merano down a pleasant trail and along the river.

“The hotel and restaurant have a good atmosphere.”
Good location with a pool. Good dinner and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed pillows (large and small) were much better than in other hotels. It was pleasant to sit ouside on the balcony.

Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Meran is definitely worth a visit. Facilities were useful and clean. Breakfast was also excellent. Very much enjoyed our stay.
