“Amazing place”
We made a stop here on our roadtrip and almost immediately decided to stay a night longer. The surrounding is amazing for hiking, the village is peaceful and the Vilamaroto itself is a wonderful place to stay - comfortable and high standard, with a lot of love in the details that makes it very special. The very sweet and kind owner makes sure you have everything you need and provides a great breakfast with local specialties. He also became big friends with our dog :) highly recommend this great place!

“Beautiful stay in the mountains”
The property is a beautifully restored stone building in a quiet mountain village. The owner is a lovely man who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable after a very long drive. We loved having a really well equipped kitchen to prepare dinner and loved being able to eat in the dining room or courtyard garden with our dogs. We’ve stayed in several b&bs in the area over the years but Vilamaroto is the best of them all. Special mention for the wonderful breakfast!

The host was very friendly and helpful. The accomodation is very very clean, quite new, and well arranged. Our room was completely quiet, and with a fantastic view of the mountain - looked at the sunrise as the first rays hit the tops of the mountain across the valley. Great for walking and wandering - they also allow dogs. Although breakfast was very good, I had a 'need' for poached eggs and the host was delighted to let me prepare them!! I lay in bed and took the attached photo of the sunrise.

Breakfast excellent. Location beautiful. It was a bit off the main road, but definitely worth it! Only stayed 1 night. Will definitely go back to discover the village and do some hiking!
