Everything was in good taste, the room was wide and clean. The staff called ahead of time to verify our arrival and time of arrival and as we arrived a little late they made the arrangements for us to get into our room without the need to go through the front office

Extremely disappointing experience – Unacceptable customer service (post trip) I stayed at Mendo Bungalow on August 26-27, 2024, and while the initial impression of the room showed some attention to detail (such as thoughtfully arranged accessories) and the reception staff was very friendly and accommodating, our experience quickly took a turn for the worse due to several major issues. The state of the beds, in particular, did not match the otherwise positive first impression. 1. Unclean beds: It was obvious that someone had already slept in both beds. There were long hairs on the pillows, body hairs under the sheets, and visible black stains on the bedding. The sheets were wrinkled in the middle, which clearly indicated prior use. While this was likely an oversight by housekeeping—something that can happen—it absolutely should not. My wife and I were thoroughly disgusted at the thought of sleeping in these beds. Unfortunately, since the reception was already closed when we discovered this, we had no choice but to use the beds as they were. This was extremely unpleasant and certainly not what we expected during our vacation. 2. Mattress misalignment: One of the mattresses was incorrectly placed, with part of it hanging off the edge of the frame, and the bed’s slats were exposed on one side. 3. Ant infestation: The bathroom had ants crawling on the floor, which added to the overall discomfort of our stay.
