“The perfect place in a perfect town! Mendocino was and still is my favorite place in CA!”

We had a lovely stay for three nights. The hospitality was excellent. They serve a wine and charcuterie happy hour from 4-5, and delicious breakfasts were brought to our door each morning between 8:30 and 9. We requested a ground floor room and they were able to accommodate us with that request when we first booked. The communication was excellent throughout our stay. Will definitely look for 4 Sisters Inns in other cities!

Lovely cottagey feel to the property, and a good comfy room with plenty of space. Loved the outdoor deck at the rear of the property. Perfect for breakfast on a sunny day. Breakfasts ( delivered to our door) were really delicious

“Quaint and delightful stay”

Only issue I had was it is not friendly for elderly as too many steps to climb and steep especially if you have to take the luggage up… the place is so lovely that you do forget the aches and pains once in your room and space! Mendocini is a lovely quaint town..

Our place was down the street from the main house. We loved having breakfast (in a basket) brought to our room each day and eating on the back porch with a distant view of the ocean. We enjoyed our room and the staff was great. Each night there had a happy hour at the main house with wine, fruit, cheeses and crackers. It was delightful.

Enjoyed being upgraded to larger room. Wine and cheese at Blue Door Inn was excellent. Staff very friendly. Location of Packard House is close to art galleries, shops, and restaurants, as well as the coastal path and the wild Pacific Ocean. Added bonus: a spouting whale.

We LOVED our stay in Mendocino. We stayed at the Blue Door Inn, and from the moment we arrived we fell in love with it. It's a beautiful house from the outside, and even more beautiful on the inside. Check in was simple and easy, with very friendly staff. The room 'Buckingham' was just beautiful. Furnished nicely, huge comfortable bed, 2 comfy chairs in the room, an amazing bath and soft cosy robes in the room. They even provided us a kettle for our room upon request. The breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning (8:30) and consisted of eggs/grits, yoghurt parfait, a pumpkin bread and coffee. The common areas downstairs feel just like a beautiful home, really, we can't recommend this place highly enough, we wish we would have stayed more than 1 night.

Breakfast was good. The location was very convenient- just a few blocks away from a grocery store and restaurants.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I liked that I could easily text them for anything and they were great about responding and refreshing the room by a certain time. Breakfast was nice and included both sweet and savory items. We stayed at Packard house but I think Blue Door is probably the nicest facility. Wine hour was nice and and cookies were very good.

It was spotlessly clean. The furnishings/ lounge are wonderful. Every evening 5-6 there is complementary wine and nibbles. Breakfast Was delicious,uniquely served. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It is a very nice little house with different rooms. Our room was very cosy with our own fireplace and a perfect view. And on top of al that you get your breakfast delivered in a basket on your door. Perfect!

So well maintained that it looks as if it had been comprehensively renovated just the day before.

We stayed in the water tower, which was a very fun room to stay in! We had access to the main guest house and the one next door. There was wine and cheese upon arrival and breakfast was delivered to the room. It was great!
