Overview
Completed in 2016, this hotel is situated in the heart of Memmingen, offering great access to the train station and airport. WiFi access is provided free of charge at Hotel am Schrannenplatz. Located in the heart of the town in a very pretty setting,it was a joy to be there. Our room was big, comfortable and clean enough. Overall it was a nice stay and would stay here again.

Easy to get to from train station. Room very comfortable and very clean. Kettle and fridge a nice addition. Lovely hotel. Very easy walk to Memmingen Christmas market and Memmingen town is lovely .

“Great location, great staff”
We stayed twice in the hotel on our recent holiday - on the night we arrived into Memmingen airport and 2 days at the end. The hotel is lovely - on a square with shops and cafes and a restaurant / bar in the hotel - we ate in the hotel the night we arrived and the meal etc was fine. Breakfast is served to the table and you can order eggs etc as well - a lot of food and a change to try things we normally wouldn't. The staff across the hotel services are excellent - a special mention to the lady who worked at breakfast as she was always checking if we needed anything etc. The rooms are very modern and spacious. There's a large park haus almost across the road which was very handy for our car. You can walk into the centre (2-3 mins) through the shopping area or by the river beside the hotel which has some cafes along it. The owner of the hotel is almost always present and making sure guests are being well looked after. Only about 10-15 minutes drive from airport

The guy that checked us in (working in the bar at the time we arrived very late at night) was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. This was our first time visiting Germany and he made our first day a great experience.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, close to everything I needed, with great restaurants, shops and attractions just steps away. The room was spotless and well-maintained, which made it feel extra comfortable and relaxing. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional and genuinely helpful – they really made me feel welcome. I was so happy with my stay that I’ve already booked my next visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient and well-run hotel!

“Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff”
The hotel is really lovely, in the main square and only a 7 minute walk from train station. Our room was very spacious and clean with a big bathroom, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was great. Perfect stop for one night to catch a flight and for exploring the town a bit as well. Would definitely recommend it!
