“Clean apartment in local village but communication with host made for an unpleasant stay”

The accommodation was clean and as described. The kitchen had the essentials for preparing food, and there is a washing machine (but you have to pay to use it). The location is a small local village with a few shops that have the bare essentials, but you'll need to go into Pogradec for more options. The village itself is great, mostly peaceful and full of friendly locals, and it's a short walk (5 mins) to the lake where you can swim.

“Grear place in lake Ohrid”

This place is the best, good value for money!! We (backpacker couple) stayed two night during our road trip through Albania and we enjoyed our time there. The accommodation has a lot of space, big bedroom with confortable bed and multiple blankets (it can get cold at night). Functional kitchen with all the necessary utensils. Toilet with hot shower, soap, toilet paper and towels included. The owners are very friendly, helpful and willing to help. They have a lot of space to park the car and a nice garden in front of the house.

“Beautiful garden house with incredible hosts”

Our gardenhouse experience was fantastic. We had no idea where we were going but wanted to stay out of the city in the Ohrid lake area and what a beautiful surprise! The house is perfectly equipped, well mantained, and has a wonderful garden. Our hosts treated us like family! They made us traditional food at the garden grill and even took us for a wonderful hike to the mountains. Recommended 100/10, we will definitely come back to stay again. Thank you both!

Very nice host that's very helpful. Private parking and a beautiful garden. The house is spacious but has an uneven floor that can be a bit tricky. The shower is very very basic, but yes it works and it is hot. There is no hot water in the kitchen but off course you can get it in the bathroom.

“Dissapointing”

The apartment has everything you need. The neighbours were friendly. The area is beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation is basic but has all you need. Ideal to escape the heat: the room is on the ground floor and is very pleasantly cool. The garden is the best feature. Perfect to relax, with a hammock, deck chairs and a big table where you can eat. Our kid (4YO) loved playing here, safely and in the shadow. The hosts only speak Albanian but communication runs smoothly with a translation app. They offered amazing products from the garden, and so much more. They are incredibly attentive and helpful. Location is not right at the lakeside but you can reach both Lin and Pogradec easily by car (we didn’t have difficulties finding parking even though it was high season) and also walk to the beautiful beach of the camping nearby. A very good restaurant is also at walking distance. We appreciated being in this village not yet transformed by tourism.
