Overview
Lopesan Baobab Resort is a luxurious resort set in tropical gardens with African-style decór throughout. It features a large outdoor swimming pool and is 600 metres from Maspalomas Beach. Rooms at the Lopesan are elegant and spacious. All feature air conditioning and a balcony. The bathrooms have toiletries and bathrobes. A safe is available for a surcharge. The Baobab’s Pili Pili Restaurant specialises in grilled meats and seafood, while the Akara offers African cuisine. There is a buffet restaurant, as well as 2 stylish poolside bars and a coffee shop. The Lopesan also has a children's club and a babysitting service. The hotel's 24-hour reception provides luggage storage. The Baobab Resort offers impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is just 10 minutes’ walk from Maspalomas lighthouse and the seafront path.

This was honestly one of our best travel experiences! The stunning architecture of the building makes the entire stay feel incredibly special. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which featured a spacious layout, super comfy beds, and impressively large bathrooms. The service is where this hotel truly shines—from Laura at reception to Ruben in room service, the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. We were also blown away by the amazing breakfast buffet, the marvelous pools, and the fact that everything was kept spotlessly clean. For convenience, there is an extensive activity calendar for both kids and adults, plus a small gym and on-site supermarket. The location is perfect: you’re right near the beach, restaurants, and shops, plus the bus station is nearby if you prefer not to drive. We visited during the low season and enjoyed plenty of space, though I imagine it gets very lively during the high season. Highly recommended!

Let's start with the positive. The staff are super friendly, the hotel and facilities are clean and the hotel room itself is great. It's comfortable, quiet and overall great for a relaxed stay. The bars are great - fantastic cocktails, great setting. The partnership with the local gym ensures access to great facilities although comes with a premium.

This resort hotel has everything for lone travellers to families with young kids. Many pools, bars, dining areas. Only 100m from the centre shops, restaurants and beach, all of which were excellent. Good access to buses and taxis to investigate the island.

“lovely, restful stay”
Breakfast is great - you can go to the quieter buffet which is through the first busier restaurant and we had no queues! The housekeeper we had for most of our stay was exceptional! We had one day were housekeeping was not done properly (the great lady was on a day off I think) but the hotel responded well.
