Melnik is a quaint and beautiful little city. One of our favourites in Bulgaria. Our room in Guest House Holiday was very spacious, well furnished and with a view. It had a big bathroom with a bathtub.The location is excellent, right on the main square. The staff was very helpful .They helped us selecting the right kind of food in the restaurant, helped us calling a taxi for sight seeing ( as we had language problem) and always smiling, Will remember them. We enjoyed the breakfast and the food in the restaurant downstairs. Highly recommended.

“True Gem”

The property is in old style houses (new building I think, just the style is old BG house) but with very modern interior, super clean, spacious and everything just like in the photos. When we came, the staff from the restaurant greeted us and show us the apartment. Beds are very comfotable and the rooms are warm. We stayed in the 3BR apartment and the room has each private bathroom. Plenty of plates, glasses and cuttlery. The breakfast is just in the restaurant next to the main hotel. You will get also discount for the restaurant.

The location is perfect, in the middle of the town. The restaurant is one of the best in Melnik.

Comfortable, warm and clean, it was conveniently located and we really liked having the restaurant close by. The chicken kavarma my husband ordered was to die for!

Loved it here! A charming hotel in Melnik! Simple rooms with a handy shared coffee machine in the hallway! Comfy bed and basic but functioning bathroom. The staff were lovely and the restaurant downstairs was one of the highlights of our whole Bulgaria trip!

Perfect location with parking available in front of the building. Adjacent restaurant is very nice with big variety of tasty local food for friendly rates (10% discount for accomodated persons). Coffee machine in the room is another good point for coffee lowers.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was beautifully peaceful, making it a perfect retreat. Breakfast was included and absolutely worth having - a great way to start each day before heading out The owner was very helpful, though we hardly needed any assistance—it truly felt like a home away from home. It's an ideal base if you're planning to visit the Rozhen Monastery on foot (around an hour's walk with a slightly challenging stretch near the end), explore local wineries, soak in the area's tranquillity, and enjoy delicious regional cuisine and nearby villages. We only stayed a couple of nights, but we could have happily lingered much longer.

“Melnik is well worth a visit”

The location was an easy walk to other parts of the small town and restaurants. We included breakfast which was also quite good Parking was not a problem but it it was also the end of the weekend.

Great apartment in Melnik! Central location, free parking just outside. Spacious rooms for 2 couples and a kid, very clean. TV (bulgarian and greek channels), kitchen, everything you need. Helpful and friedly owner! Tasty food in the Melnik Bistro downnstairs (same owner, the place where the free breakfast is served. Great choice!
