The host was lovely. Greeted us at apartment. The apartment was spotless. Central and not far from city. Yet very quiet. Secure parking. Excellent value for money. Will come again. The communication with the Hosts prior to our arrival was excellent, clear precise, helpful and respectful. The apartment was fantastic. It was huge esp the lining room. The photos on the site were realistic but cant do it justice. Everything you need was there. You even get a view of Melbourne city from the shower. While we didn't use the balcony it was nice area to sit for an afternoon wine or morning coffee as the sun rises. The Hosts met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and very nice. It was obvious that they still have fond memories of when it was their home and are very proud of how they have decorated it. And so they should be, its beautiful - very mid century. The Apartment is in a very safe leafy green area of Toorak and is 5 min walk to the tram into Toorak Village (2 stops) and the city or any other party of city with ease. Toorak Village has a coles, wollies, bakery and lots of other shops & restaurants. We ordered Thai from Thai@Toorak and it was fantastic ..so much so we got it a 2nd night....closest I have had to meals in Thailand for a long time. Of all the apartments I have stayed in all over the world over the last 20yrs I'd have to say this one is in my top 3 if not #1 You know it's a great apartment when both of us said "we could easily live here" Thanks Jo & Chris for sharing your 2nd home with us.

It was the perfect place to stay after surgery. Easy walk to the supermarket and shops for anything you need. We felt safe, and it was very quiet. We like the little balcony where we can sit in the mornings and have our coffee. The apartment had everything you needed. It was our home away from home. Thank you for a great stay.

Everything you need, great location, views, facilities and amenities. Clean, tidy, very comfortable, private and quiet. Pleasantly surprised to hear birds in the mornings and see hot air balloons passing by.

The location, security, size of apartment & the best, condiments such as salt, pepper, baking paper, glad wrap as we ate in each night due to bad weather.

The fourth floor apartment is delightful with full height windows facing East and plenty of smaller windows to the North and West. it is well appointed and immaculately clean. Lovely view of the city day and night through the bare deciduous trees. A delightful bookcase full of every book I meant to read one day, including a Typeface Catalogue.

Fabulous apartment, very spacious and very well equipped. Beds were very comfy too. Location was also fabulous, close to Toorak and South Yarra precincts.

We had brekfast in Laurant's, lovely bread and pastries, so NOT applicable to the property but Laurant is 750m from the property on Toorak Rd. But the property had great views of the city, is located in a very quiet road, 300 m walk to tram 58 which will take you to ANZAC station. All in all perfect.

Very spacious and light filled apartment in a beautiful location, close to public transport, restaurants and cafes. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and overall the apartment was well appointed -we'll be back!

“A lovely stay in a gorgeous mid century apartment”

This apartment is in a wonderful mid century architect designed apartment block in a lovely Melbourne street lined with huge shady oak trees . From the Koi fish pond in the foyer to the wood lined lift the whole experience of just getting to the apartment is beautiful . Once inside the home feels spacious , quiet and luxurious , the soft wool carpet soften sounds and made us leave our shoes at the door . This apartment is well loved and everything is thought of for a relaxed stay . I loved the huge mid century style bookshelf and enjoyed looking through the collection of books . The full length balcony was lovely for a glass of wine in the evening looking over green trees to the Melb city . The beds and bedding were like a 5 star hotel . The kitchen was new well designed and I felt like cooking with some wonderful cookbooks for inspiration . The shower and tucked away laundry perfect , the apartment was spotless and the host is lovely if you need to reach out for instructions .
