“I would definitely stay here again”
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower pressure was fantastic, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. In the morning when we woke, my husband was feeling very unwell and the staff at the Savoy graciously allowed us a very late checkout to give him a chance to recover, we were very thankful for this as we had to catch a plane later that day. I would highly recommend the Savoy to anyone staying in Melbourne city, it's close to public transport and many, many places to eat

“Exceptional hotel”
The ambiance. Friendly staff. Good value too. The foyer and design of the hotel is very welcoming. Excellent location to a major station. Will stay at the Savoy on future holidays.

The location suited us perfectly for the footy, transcript destinations we were visiting, bars and restaurants. Room as clean and comfy. Breakfast was great.

Love the old building and sympathetic improvements as modern hotel. We were on a budget so a pleasure to feel we had spent bigger bucks. The breakfast dining room was lovely as was our bathroom. The bed was comfy so had a good sleep pre long haul flight. Such a short stroll to Skybus :)

“Charming and comfortable”
This is a really charming hotel, great location close to many attractions in Melbourne. It’s really clean but like stepping back into a Time Machine, so please expect a 5 star stay based on 1940s conditions, we think that’s really awesome though ;)

Beautifully renovated hotel with lots of history and personality. A corner room afforded wide views across Southern Cross Station and down Spencer Street. We found the location superb for inner city, Southbank and our functions at Marvel Stadium.
