The Mansion Melbourne (formerly Home at the Mansion) was refurbished in 2019 and offers a fusion of chilled vibes, heritage charm, stylish spaces and hotel staff at your service. It features free WiFi, a bar and café and co-working spaces. The Mansion Melbourne is conveniently located for guests to explore the city of Melbourne. It is just a few steps from the CBD and located across the road from Brunswick St in the inner-city suburb of Fitzroy. Guests can also enjoy some quiet time relaxing with a book in Carlton Gardens, which is just a 2-minute walk from The Mansion Melbourne. There are multiple free trams nearby and Parliament Train Station is a 4-minute walk from the property. The Mansion features renovated rooms over three levels, connected by a grand double spiral staircase. The rooms are fitted out with bunk beds complete with privacy curtain, thick mattresses and pillows, a private bed light, power point and a locker. There is also a whole floor with air-conditioning available. The Mansion Melbourne offers environmentally responsible accommodation, from composting the green waste onsite to purchasing fair trade coffee beans.

“Good stay in a great location”
Great location and super friendly and helpful staff. Especially nice to be able to store luggage and have a seat before check in and after check out. Also nice spacious rooms, bathrooms and kitchen.

“Just what I needed for a quick mini trip”
The staff were very accommodating, the old building is beautiful! I love the high ceilings and original details of the mansion! It had everything I needed, a warm comfortable bed, I felt safe and couldn't have asked for a better location.

I had a wonderful stay here for a few days. The staff were amazing, and the common areas were really well designed, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everything is thoughtfully organized, from the food storage to the kitchen, which even has towels available to dry the dishes. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 There are great spots to meet people and socialize, as well as quieter spaces if you prefer some time to yourself. Whether you're extroverted or introverted, you'll love this place. A special thank you to Ashley, Dominique, Rose, and Dan, who I interacted with the most, for being so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Thanks so much! ❤️

“Nice and comfortable place to stay”
This is the first time I like a lot of stuff in a hostel Price and quality, location, space in the rooms, staff was nice. Enough accessories in the kitchen. The front yard was cool. Good quality of the sheets and pillows case.i will definitely come back here . I really enjoyed the place and the people staying were nice and respectful
