I arrived early to store my bags and the staff checked me into the room immediately which was a lovely surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are no split levels with stairs to drag suitcases up and down as with some other hotels in this area, the rooms were simple but very clean and had everything I needed. It is a short walk to Southern Cross station and easy access to trams, trains and city attractions. The bar at the front is very cosy and a nice addition.
