The room was very clean and the hosts friendly and helpful!

Chua and his wife were so friendly it felt like I was staying with family, with homemade banana bread, comfy private room, spotlessly clean and lots of ideas of what to do. I’d stay here again if I’m ever back in Melaka.

The hosts were so kind and gave us lots of useful information about Malacca. The beds were very comfortable and could not recommend this place more!

We had a great stay. The guesthouse is super clean, very comfortable and the owners are super nice and always around if you need them. The delicious banana cake for breakfast and our departure bus journey was the cherry on top! Thank you :)

“Perfect hosts”

Wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome from the very first minute. They took us through a map of the local area and where to explore upon arrival (make sure you visit the local Sentosa house in the PM up the river which they recommended us to go see & was the best thing we did in Malacca). Rooms were clean, plenty of social space to relax in, there was a kitchen/small breakfast provided and location was great. Thank you for a great stay.

Everything! Whimsical and beautiful painting on all walls, hosts welcome you in like you are family! Didn't go a day without the amazing banana bread made fresh or and nice chat with Chua and Maria. Great tips for Melaka and short walk to everything you need. Stay here! You won't regret it.

The lovely couple that run it - so helpful and friendly, giving us advice on where to go, logistics etc. It was such a nice change from the typical hotel experience void of interaction/ conversation! The banana bread they gave us was divine, thoroughly enjoyed it on our bus to Singapore :)

I liked the friendliness of the hosts. Made great suggestions of where to go and where to eat. Maria provided lovely homemade cookies and cake. Loved the paintings of local sites on the walls. Warm and inviting environment.

Maria it was the star of my stay until her husband came . They were both very nice and helpful all the time. The property is very colorfull. I felt like I was in a rustic welcoming house full of joy and love. As a solo traveller I felt very secure and found fellow solo travellers to chat and hang around too. It was very surprising pleasant my stay and Maria’s guest house.

After booking this property last minute it certainly didn’t disappoint. The location is fab, only a 5 minute walk to the river. The host’s are amazing, gave us some great local recommendations and even cooked fresh chocolate banana bread for us. Highly recommend this place

The host was the nicest man I’ve ever encountered. He kept in touch with me before my arrival to make sure everything was ok and once there he gave a few tips to visit the city. He is always available whenever there is something to be asked or solve. My experience there was really good.

Our stay in this guest house was absolutely marvellous, mostly because Maria, who was running the place those days, made our stay pleasant and made us feel comfortable at all times. The place is stunningly clean, the rooms were basic but enough, and all over the walls and rooms are covered by beautiful paintings that make you feel in a living piece of art. Maria cook everyday special surprises for the breakfast or just random snacks throughout the day. The guest house is located very close to the centre and in a very local neighborhood, although some surroundings seems a bit careless or not very good looking due the market area or commercial properties, although still super safe and quiet. I highly recommend it to stay at this place if your in Malacca and want to get involved in the local vibe and feel pampered by the hospitality of their owners. Thank you so much for everything guys!
