Great location - very central, a short walk along the river takes you to everything you need but hidden away on a quieter side street so still felt very peaceful. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant downstairs does really good food too.

I loved staying at Ohana House. The hotel is beautiful and the people friendly and efficient. The rooms are lovely – I stayed in two different rooms and enjoyed them both – with all that you need for your stay and nice touches like a water machine with cold and boiling water in the corridor. It was quiet but a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Melaka and with good coffee shops (I liked the Time Cafe around the corner), restaurants and bars, and beautiful old buildings in the area. This was the best hotel of my trip and I hope I’ll be back soon.

Great location.a quiet neighborhood but still walking distance (within 20 minutes) to most of the must see attractions, restaurants etc. The room was spacious, quiet and quaint. Air conditioner and hot water work well. Nice touches are hot and cool filtered water is available on the lower level and a decanter and mugs are in the room. Also, they have facial tissue, bed side lamps and outlets in the room. While I thought it was a little pricey, I did enjoy my stay, and the staff are just a WhatsApp message away.

“Pleasant stay at Ohana House HQ”
The family suite features a retro Peranakan design and is exceptionally beautiful. It is a loft-style layout with a staircase that is somewhat slanted and narrow. Those who might find this inconvenient may want to consider opting for a different room type. Good location! Just a few mins walk to Jonker Street and all the famous cafes.
