“Central location. Excellent rooms.”
Property is located in absolutely heart of town. You step inside and you are transferred to a different world altogether. Rooms are nice, bed comfortable, toilets & bathroom were good in size and had all necessary amenities. You can walk down to shopping areas or other restaurants. Breakfast was very good.

“Warm welcome with terrific staff”
From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed and treated to mint tea. We decided to go to a winery which we could not contact ourselves. Asmae arranged everything, contacting the winery and arranging the taxi. She was wonderful. We were also well looked after by Achraf who was waiting for us on our return and looked after us at breakfast. The Riad is located outside the Medina and well placed for visiting. Hopefully we will return on our next trip to Meknes.

“Good value, pleasant location”
Friendly staff, but the place needs refurbishing. It was probably clean but difficult to tell. The rooftop terrace was perfect .

“Rude and unpleasant staff”
Moroccan hospitality is well known and appreciated. However there's an exception to every rule and this place has been unfortunately the exception in our journey accross the country. Upon our arrival a young lady offered us a tea with reluctance while she was apparently managing the paper work for our stay. After some good twenty minutes she came back to rudely inform us the room would be ready in twenty more minutes and disappeared, not before answering my question about the possibility to enjoy the pool in the meantime with a sore sentence stating the pool was not available that day although it' d be the day after. We assumed that was not true as it indeed turned out later on. When she finally came back after 30-40 minutes more, she announced the room was ready, so we took our 3 pieces of luggage plus several travel bags, and our four-year old, ready to take the stairs up to our room, without any intent to help from her side and finally thought that after an hour we were able to take a rest, she rudely demanded me to pay the whole stay. I was surprised and loaded with our luggage, and remembered myself I had guaranteed the payment with my credit card so suggested we could maybe go to the room and pay afterwards. This terrible request frpm my side only deserved the following response: here things are done like this. No doubt. That's why we won't come back, even if the rest of people there were nice to us.

“Lovely stay in Rabat”
The palace of the Riad D´Or is a beauty itself, only by walking in you are already in a special place. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. The team of the Riad extremely gentle, welcoming and ready to help. The Hammam in the Riad is also a special feature if you want to relax on your trip, practical tip inside the Riad

“Warm welcome, perfect riad and nice city”
+ Very nice atmosphere, spacious and quiet, comfortable room, perfect location, parking is ideal on the square right in front of the riad, good food, and last but not least very professional and friendly staff! - The WiFi in our room was rather poor (room on roof terras)
