The location was a 5 minute walk to the railway station with excellent connections to Brienz and Interlaken. Ursula the host was very welcoming. She met me at the train station, gave me some local pastries and took me back to the train station in her car after I had injured myself and could hardly walk. Good value for the money when compared to other accommodation in the area.

Studio apartment with own entrance. Fabulous host gave us lots of local information. Coffee machine with pods :-) Car parked by the door. Meirengen has great lifts and walking/hiking trails, and its calm and peaceful. Lots of eateries, gelateria, etc. This place was the highlight of our holiday. Great value for money, close to train and buses. 10-minute walk to town center and gondola.

Location conveniently close to public transport and shops. Ursula was very welcoming and I enjoyed my stay a lot.

The hostess Ursula is very kind and responsive. She waited for us at the train station to welcome us and showed the way to the apartment. She helped us with our laundry, giving us tatzelwurmli and helped us with coins change to buy milk from the nearby farm. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with good facilities and near the train station.

Our stay in Montanara was fantastic. Ursula was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. I could park my motorbike in the undercroft where they keep their bicycles. The personal touch was above and beyond. As for the apartment, it was good-sized, very clean, and comfortable. It was very helpful to have a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge. The apartment is well located in a residential area, 10 minutes walking distance from the city center and 5 minutes from the train station

Ursula is an extraordinary person—calm and warm-hearted. She made us feel incredibly welcome and helped us navigate the area by showing us local attractions, the information point, and the nearby supermarket. The location was beautiful and clean, surrounded by greenery and featuring a small courtyard with lush grass. Overall, our experience was delightful, and we highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and a lovely environment.

“Stay in meiringen for couple”

First thing is the host Ursula is super nice. She is super friendly and helps in everything. On the day we were arriving at 5pm and she was not in home so she arranged keys for us with sweet greetings. Also we went for our anniversary and she gave us surprise with the meiringen special sweet. Even when we were leaving it was raining and she dropped us to train station in her car. I would recommend couples to stay there if you guys are looking for the room with kitchen around Interlaken. It's also well connected to Interlaken region. The rooms are neatly maintained and very clean. Everything was perfect.

“A Relaxing Gem in a Pretty Setting.”

MONTANARA is a delightfully situated Holiday Studio. Everything was perfectly prepared for our stay and Ursula’s warm welcome was very much appreciated after a long drive from Zermatt. The studio is well kitted out , with every little item we might need provided, and a lot of extras! The decoration gives a fresh feel to the atmosphere of the room and it is in a very quiet area of Meiringen but less than 10 minutes walk from the centre. A bistro set in the garden, encourages you to relax and take in the dramatic views of the surrounding mountains. There are two supermarkets within a short distance of the property and a variety of restaurants and cafe’s. Hoping to return quite soon.

A very comfortable stay in a convenient location that is about 5 to 10 mins walk from Meiringen station. Ursula was a very friendly and thoughtful host who made my stay there extra enjoyable. I had the luxury of a fully functional kitchen with the much valued expresso making machine. I also enjoyed dining at the small table outside of the property while admiring the mountain view.

“Beyond Expectations”

Ursula was really kind and helpful in explaining everything. The best owner I met until now. The house was clean, with everything you need in the kitchen to cook, a nice bathroom, a comfy bed, and a beautiful view of the garden. This place is a 4min walk from the train station. This place was beyond my expectations and would definitely suggest it. Next time I am in the area, I would definitely love to stay here again.

When I arrived the hostess was very welcoming and showed me around the property. She was very friendly and spoke excellent english/ During my stay we s[poke several times and she was always looking to help. On the morning I left she made a special visit to say goodby and wish me a good journey. The property was well looked after and clean, had good storage for clothes and a good set out cooking area. While there was no air conditioning for hot days the large opening windows had fly screens so could be opened wide to allow in cool air. There is a small patio with outrdoors seating and a table for good weather. With the property around a 5 to 10 minute walk from the town center and the railway station there is good access for shopping or visiting other areas of Switzerland using the excellent rail service. The area is quiet and just across the road from fields.
