Offering panoramic views of the Reichenbach Falls and the Alps, the Dunkel Blaue Maus is located 250 metres from the cable car station to Hasliberg. The TV-free room features a private terrace with direct access to the garden. Room amenities include a tea/coffee maker, a fridge and a private bathroom with a shower. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows and wooden furniture. Guests can relax in the library. Grocery stores and restaurants are available in the centre of Meiringen, a 10-minute walk away. Hiking trails can be found in the nearby gorges Aareschlucht and Alpbachschlucht.

“Peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings”
Fabulous breakfast prepared for us by Edith, with fresh bread every morning and homemade jam from the garden. Beautiful setting, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, ideal for those who want to ski in the area or explore places like Interlaken or Grinderwald. Edith attended to us very kindly, so that we felt at home.

Edith and Niels our hosts were very welcoming, accomodating,helpful, attentive and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and rich, the room is large and well equipped, with a big and beautiful garden and majestic scenery around. Our hosts were generous and kind. We highly recommend this B&B. We give them 10+++ stars.

Everything was excellent! Very hospitable hosts, cozy apartments where you feel like at home, delicious breakfast, large windows to the floor with a magnificent view of the mountains and a waterfall, a very beautiful area around the house and a garden. Nearby is a ski lift, which was important for us, as well the village centre. This holiday exceeded all our expectations! :)
