A welcome pack is needed explaining where the nearest facilities are. ie this property can appear quite isolated and mini market a car ride away. Even if you knew where it was. Without transport it could be difficult to carry water and other necessities as it is very hilly on the island. A help would be the local taxi number, who to contact in an emergency, any local doctor or dentist etc if needed. We had no hot water anywhere on arrival. The owners did eventually send somebody after 2 days to the property to sort this. We were then told -there actually is no hot water connected to the kitchen tap. Tenants should be made aware of this. We asked for sunbeds as there were none and these arrived after 24 hours. We arrived the first week of May and were disappointed to find the accessible taverna below us on the beach was still closed for the winter.

A charming little house located a couple of minutes from Spilia beach. You are also able to walk up to the lovely village of Spartachorio (the walk up there was easier than we expected). There is also a mini market in the next bay (where the ferries arrive), so the house has a great location.

A stunning location overlooking the beach but away from the bustle. The apartment was so well appointed - lots of thoughtful extras like a comfy seating area outside, a washing machine, sewing kit and first aid kit items which were so welcome after a couple of weeks of travelling! The host was super helpful and responsive. An excellent tavern only minutes away (Taverna Spilia).

“Lovely relaxing stay in a great location with fantastic views.”
The location is fabulous. Great views of Spilia bay and just a short walk down to the beach, taverna and boats. We explored the island quite a bit by foot and boat and thought Rocka View had one of the nicest locations. The villa got sun from mid morning onwards but if it got too hot, there was shady area as well - perfect. The villa is well equipped and having the washing machine made life very easy. It was very clean and the lovely lady who changed sheets and towels etc came in twice during our 8 days. On the couple of occasions we needed to message the owner (power cut on the island), he replied very quickly.
