Everything feels carefully thought out, from the elegant decor to the incredibly warm and attentive service. It’s the kind of spot where you can really switch off, relax, and enjoy every moment. Azur Retreat is the perfect destination for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the restaurant served excellent dishes with amazing views. We especially appreciated the calm atmosphere, elegant design, and the attention to detail throughout the property. The spa services helped us relax even more and added to the whole experience. The staff were kind and happy to help with anything we needed. We only wish we had planned to stay longer — we’ll definitely be back!

It is a perfect holiday retreat. Exceeded expectations. The food is superb, the staff are extra friendly and helpful, Mariana at the spa is a very skilled therapist and the hotel is beautiful with all the facilities we could have wanted. Our 5 day stay was far too short. Meganisi is a beautiful island and we will be back to Azur again.

This is a very stylish hotel with fantastic views of Vathi harbour. We never tired of watching the boats come in and out and the butterflies which were in abundance. The staff on reception and in the restaurant did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The interior design has been considered and is very sympathetic to the surroundings using lots of wood and stone. Fantastic restaurant as well -best grilled octopus ever! Also 5 mins walk from a small beach and beach bar and 15 mins walk from Vathi harbour

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It has been furnished to a really high standard and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to attend to your needs. The views from the room are beautiful and the food & cocktails are delicious too.

Where can I start… The island itself is a secret paradise (hopefully not to be discovered by mass tourism anytime soon). Azur Retreat is built right on the hill, providing marvellous sea views from anywhere -in and out of the room. You private pool facing the sea and the little marina, and the village of Vathy, is a place you will not want to leave… day or night. Ok, only to have dinner at their restaurant. Staring at the menu, none can imagine how all these -Greek- ingredients can orchestrate such delicious plates.

“Superb new hotel in amazing location, needs fine tuning”

We booked the Rock Star Suite which is probably one of the best hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The private pool, super comfortable king bed, walk-in show and sublime views made us feel like we had our own mini-villa. The staff were friendly and always answered our questions, solved issues and arranged transport, boat hire and Covid tests promptly and efficiently.

The view from the restaurant is trully stunning. Hotel staff were very helpful and assited us making the most out of the day we spent at the island. The rooms are brand new, with spectacular view to the bay below. Great attention to detail. The food was excelent. This type of restaurant was missing from the island as the other options are all more traditional taverna style. We had a treatment at the spa which left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

This is going to be a gem on the island. With great location, superb architecture it needs just more details and better trained staff to make it implacable resort. So far the resort is on a soft openings mode.
