I cant wait to get back to Villa Athena, and friends who also stayed in Skiathos for a wedding all wished they had stayed here! The hosts are so friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome to the studios on their property. We were welcomed with flowers, fruit beer and soft drinks as well as great advice on taxis and places to eat and visit. The view from the villa was amazing, and I could have stayed forever. The kitchen facilities were great for a small studio and the décor was lovely with great attention to detail. The daily housekeeping service was excellent. Mini supermarket, beach and taverns a short walk down 'the hill'

“Skiathos 25”

Villa Athena was excellent and Karen and Org, our hosts, were great, they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The views from the studio were brilliant. Skiathos is a lovely town and the many beaches within an easy and inexpensive bus ride are amongst the best anywhere. Skiathos has plenty of restaurants offering excellent food at affordable prices.

Our week long stay at Villa Athena has been fantastic! Our studio had amazing views of the sea and overlooked the beautifully maintained garden. Villa Athena is very picturesque, quiet, spotless and comfortable. Soundproof walls. Each studio has its own private entrance and terrace/patio. Our apartment had all the necessities plus daily housekeeping. Quiet A/C. The owners Karen and Orc are very warm and welcoming and are onsite. Bus Stop 5 is just at the bottom of the hill and a supermarket very conveniently located. Villa Athena is a true gem!

“Idyllic stay at Villa Athena, wonderful hosts”

Our stay at Villa Athena was wonderful. The apartment was based on the hillside surrounded by beautiful gardens with fantastic sea views . Karen and Org the hosts were the best you could get making sure everything was ok and giving advice about the island . The apartment itself was lovely, very clean and had everything that you needed with great outdoor space . Karen had thought of everything and it’s those little touches that make a place special. The walk into town was about 15 mins and you could walk through the back roads to avoid the busy main road . We hope we can make it back one day .

“Stunning, unforgettable view”

Unfortunately we only stayed four nights at Villa Athena. This place is just beyond beautiful. Although the driveway to the accommodation is quite steep you will get the most breathtaking reward once you arrive. The different units are surrounded by a beautiful green garden. In the apartments you get a stunning view over the sea and island. The units are very clean and comfortable. Skiathos town is just a 15 min walk away. But above all we appreciated the most how heartwarming our hosts welcomed us and the recommendations we got from them. If you’re looking for a place to remember, we recommend Villa Athena a 100%! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful place in Skiathos, and I can only recommend it to everyone. The location is absolutely perfect – perched overlooking the sea. It's also just the right distance from the town and nearby restaurants. Yes, a bit of a steep path to get there, but this is compensated a thousand times over by the view. If on foot, then good for your health, otherwise just organise a scooter or a car. The interior of the studio is really nice and done with attention to details. The place is really well run by the owners.

Incredible hosts - went over and above to help with boat and car rentals/local tips etc. Phenomenal views and excellent apartment - so well kitted out and serviced daily. Would recommend to anyone! Although it is very close to a bus stop, It is at the top of a big hill and just outside town - so definitely would recommend a car/4 wheeler (we rented a jimney which was great.) parking was never an issue - quick trips to the beach or town. And then also the freedom to explore many “off the beaten track” beaches, tavernas and areas on the island. We loved that.!

“See before. An outstanding property!”

The property is well-equipped and enjoys stunning views! The grounds are beautiful and the walk down the steps to the villas is magnificent. The hosts could not have been more helpful in advance of the trip and were there for us as required during our stay. Karen and Org have clearly put a huge emphasis on quality in the villas and there is a special feeling of luxury. Importantly though, the villas feel authentic and give a sensation you would never get in a hotel or larger property. They are very private and you are totally unaware of any other guests. Villa Athena is recommended without reservation and is genuinely an exceptional property.

Fantastic time at Villa Athena. Beautiful views with welcoming and extremely helpful hosts - be it taxis, restaurants, beach tips, everything was covered. Apartment was great and well-maintained with a super balcony and small touches / amenities which were much appreciated. We will absolutely be recommending to our friends and family.

The accommodation is perfect, cozy rustic apartment with a breathtaking sea view and beautiful garden! The hosts were very kind, willing to help with anything, give information, even allowed us to stay longer on the last day until going to the airport! We had a really good time! We would definitely come back here again and recommend anyone to stay here! 😊

“Amazing stay”

Gorgeous grounds, incredible view!

The location is on the hill with amazing views. The villas were exactly as pictured, with each apartment having a great breakfast/dinner spot on the patio with a view of the sea. The hosts were friendly, pleasant, and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay a great experience - including booking a dinner, boat rental or even borrowing us snorkeling and beach equipment. A well-equipped beach is a short 5-minute walk from the property down the hill. The Skiathos town is about 10 minutes walk. The hill to the property is relatively steep, but it wasn't a problem for us as it's a fairly short walk. There is free parking available at the property.

Amazing accommodation with a spectacular view. The villa is surrounded by a very arranged garden. Our host Karen was very helpful, gave us lots of information about Skiathos and made our stay very enjoyable. The studio was very clean and spacious, we had all the facilities we needed.
