“Beautiful small hotel right on the beach”

We spent a wonderful week in Room 5 at the Dafni Hotel. Our stay was truly wonderful. While we’re not fans of beaches lined with rows of umbrellas, we rode our scooter every day to places that suited us better. The Dafni Hotel is in a very quiet location, right by the sea, so swimming in the morning or evening at any time is no problem at all. The staff is very friendly; nothing is a problem. The hotel’s location is excellent—in a quiet spot where there’s no loud music or motorcycles roaring until midnight, yet it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the city center, two well-stocked “supermarkets,” motorcycle rental shops, and a bus stop. And hundreds of tavernas in the Chora town.The bus can get you to any place on the southern coast, where you'll find dozens of different beaches. The room amenities are good—there are a few glasses for wine and water,a corkscrew and a few plates for olives and cheese for a good evening on the terrace or balcony. A sufficiently large refrigerator, a hair dryer, a safe for valuables, fragrant olive-based toiletries, and soft towels and other linens by Guy Laroche. WiFi signál is sufficient throughout the facility. The aroma of breakfast wafted through the air from early morning, as the hotel kitchen baked several kinds of savory and sweet pastries—I think there’s something for everyone. Our stay at the Dafni Hotel was truly amazing, and we can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Our stay with Hotel Dafni was absolutely fantastic, the sea view from our room was incredible, so lovely to wake up to on a morning. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, very Greek, with homemade pastries - the cinnamon rolls were amazing, freshly made every morning!! The rooms were cleaned regularly, with fresh towels and bed linen. The location was perfect, great for the beach but 15-20 mins walk from the town. Also 5 mins away from the bus stop. Having the option to reserve sun beds at the hotel was great too. Thank you to all the staff - what a fabulous holiday we had.

Great location just 2 minutes from Megali Ammos beach and close to many beachfront restaurants and around 20-25 mins walk to Skiathos Town. Our room had a wonderful seaview and a big balcony. Room was a good size for 2 people and cleaned every day, breakfast was good with a choice of eggs, meat, pasties, fruit and not too busy. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 5 day stay here.

Beautiful, beachfront hotel. The staff all extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast, rooms very modern. Room was cleaned daily. Outstanding position on megali ammos beach. The owner Dafni was very helpful and accommodating. She met us on our arrival. Her two sons working the beach cafe were super helpful and offer great service. Also wonderful service from Sou at reception and Felizia at the beach. Well made drinks at the cafe. Everything was superb

We had a room with side sea view and it was absolutely perfect. Had a gate right onto the beach after the courtyard so it was beautiful to be right on the beach.

We stayed in the sea-view apartment, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable (the bathroom had been recently renovated, and the bed was also new). The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast was both fresh and delicious. The beach directly in front of the hotel is stunning, with crystal-clear water, and Skiathos town is just a 12-minute walk away. I truly cannot imagine a better place to stay in Skiathos. I would highly recommend Hotel Dafni.

⸻ We had a wonderful stay! We received an upgraded, spacious room with a beautiful sea view, just as requested. Early check-in was possible since the room was ready. The owner was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with hot and cold dishes, salads, and fresh fruit (though the sweet Greek pastries were a bit too sweet for us). The hotel is modern, clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with artistic details and marble interiors. The location is excellent — only 10 minutes by bus (3€) from the airport with a bus stop nearby, two shops next to the hotel, and just a 15 m walk from the room to the beach. Highly recommended!

The position is central. Great for beach and to walk into Skiathos town 10 mins

The hotel Is in front of the Megali Ammos beach and near to the city centre. I would choose It again for its position and if I Will come back to Skiathos I will definitely ask for availability. The room was also super good and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Cleaning was good as Well.

This is a beautiful hotel right on the beach in a quiet area but only a 10 minute walk to the vibrant main area with bars and nightlife and the port area. Perfect location. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. The hotel had the small family run feel that I was hoping for. The staff were fantastic and helped us look into boat trips. There is a fantastic restaurant right in front on the beach plus more as you walk along. This really was a superb holiday!

Fabulous location with it's own private beach area. Very friendly staff looked after all our needs. Excellent breakfast - there was plenty of choice. There is a supermarket right across the road, several nice tavernas around, bus stop nearby - easy for frequent trips to Megali Ammos.

Great location, on the beach and a short walk, albeit a bit of a climb, to Skiathos town. It was also quiet. The beach bar was very good. Our room was also very comfortable with a great view.
