“A fabulous house, location and host”
Great location just off the high street and yacht marina.Good parking right outside of the house. It was spacious, newly modernised in great style and the owner was amicable with a great sense of humour. All in all a good find.

“Great house to stay in the center of Medemblik.”
Great place to stay in the heart of Medemblik. Traditional house, very vertical, superb renovation. Kitchen is well tooled, and there is a really nice gas stove. We also really like the door at every level ensuring quiet in the room while chatting may continue in the living room or kitchen.

“Not a pleasant stay !!!”
The property intentionally fails to inform whether they accept credit cards or not on their Booking.com page. The customer would assume that in today’s world such property more likely than not, would accept cards. ONLY AFTER AND NOT before check-in, that is, AFTER the payment has already been made/effectuated and is non-refundable, the customer is informed of a 200€ additional deposit upon check in. The deposit must be made in cash and no cards are accepted. Moreover, the proprietor did not failed to inform us that he personally and in that particular country, quote: “they hate Putin…” No soap neither shampoo whatsoever in the bathroom at all !!! Not good value for money!!!
