This beautifully maintained property boasts bright coloured rooms and all the essentials you need. The Netflix was a lovely addition too. Finding a garage to store my motorbike was a lovely surprise given the awful weather I experienced during my stay.

Muriel has put a lot of thought into welcoming her guests for a comfortable relaxing stay in her beautifully renovated original building. Our room was really spacious with a huge comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom with separate toilet. A delicious breakfast was individually prepared and beautifully presented. In the courtyard there is safe parking and a private space with comfortable couches and chairs to sit and enjoy the sun. We were very happy to stay two nights on this special place

Wonderful stay in a beautiful property. Lovely decor, spacious and comfy rooms with all you need. Delicious breakfast and Muriel the host was helpful and accommodating. Lovely village close to all the places we were visiting.

A really fabulous place to stay. The property is beautifully decorated and furnished in French provincial style! The rooms are large and spacious and everything is so comfy! Muriel the host is thoughtful and accommodating and the breakfasts were abundant and wonderful! Plenty of parking space. The village of Meautle is quaint and a short drive to Albert but in the heart of the Somme so easy access to local sites and places to visit. A wonderful stay for our party of 8!

A lovely French country house. Our friendly host, Muriel, welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our large comfortable room. There were tea and coffee making facilities and, very thoughtfully, a plate of gluten free buns (for me) and chocolate goodies. As others have said, the breakfast was fabulous. A selection of breads, jams, croissants, yoghurt, fruit, cereals and delicious coffee.

Had a lovely stay here! Quetly situated near lots of war memorials. Very welcoming, lovely spacious room and bathroom, great breakfast. Would recommend!

We came here to visit the battlefields and this was such a beautiful stay. The room was completely spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything had been so well thought of - right down to the smallest details. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Albert.

The accommodation is located in a very quiet area and has plenty of off road parking available in a private courtyard at the front of the property. All the rooms were very nicely decorated and the dining room area beautifully furnished. Our host provided a superb breakfast.

“Charming and spacious room in an historic farmhouse”

We spent two nights at Un Parfum de Campagne while visiting WWI sites in the area. Our room was spacious and airy, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. It was even nicer than the photographs. Murielle is a welcoming and thoughtful host, and provides a fabulous breakfast in the dining room (complete with delicious homemade yoghurt and jams) We loved the quiet location, with parking in the courtyard and a 5-10min drive to Albert for dinner. Highly recommended.

What an amazing surprise this awesome place is if you are visiting any of the nearby War Cemeteries...which was the point of our visit. Room was huge and comfortable. Hotel was modern and very tastefully designed. Breakfast was top quality continental where you select everything from a huge list that you want and it's there waiting for you in the morning. Staff made every effort to make our stay pleasurable! On top of all this wonderful value for money!
