“Highlight of our 2 weeks trip to Senegal”

It was a highlight of our almost 2 week Senegal trip. Beautiful property by the sea. We upgraded to a Chef's lodge and it was just amazing. Super spacious, airy, beautiful terrace and beautiful sea view. Location is great. Beach infront was super clean compared to the rest and all the team extremely helpful and attentive. Very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was simple (eggs, baguette, some fruits, tea / coffee, juice).

The property is amazing, right by the beach and incredibly set up. All the staff was great, really helpful. The waitresses at the restaurant were very kind. Macoumba always had everything perfectly ready for us, super nice person.

A beautiful hotel -- in the most wonderful location, sand and ocean. We loved the decor and our room was large. We were lulled asleep by the sound of the ocean each night and woke to sunny skies. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

The lodge is absolutely fabulous. It is full of beautiful details! Pelagie and the team, the breakfast and the restaurant are great! the lodge has the only corner of the beach which is clean!

Tama lodge is a very special place — the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff incredibly kind. Time feels slower and sweeter there. We’ll be back for sure !

Very nice design accommodation, you hear the sound of sea. Breakfast is rather simple, however in Senegal above average... Comfortable sleeping.

The lodge location is something that allows the guest to immerse himself in the authentic African environment as it is deeply framed in the local environment (this part of the beach area is farway from the resorts), either by the layout of the space, by the decoration of the lodge (rooms included) or even the women that are seated with colorful clothes close to the lodge fences. A very quiet place to stay apart of the world for some time. Our special thanks to Animata on the restaurant/bar service always with a smile or a good suggestion and to Makoumba on the beach towels service, always very attentive to clean your towel when its necessary.

The location and the staff were so helpful and it is a great place for a break away from the city. The food was excellent as well and served with care. The long beach is a great place to walk or jog especially as the sun is setting ....

The type of room we booked was unavailable because of maintenance/ renovation works, therefore we got an upgrade to a suite 'le chef'. Magnificent, spacious, nicely decorated room with double bathroom!!! The location is excellent, nice and quiet at a perfect beach and at walking distance (+/- 2km, it might be worth taking a calèche ;-)) from the centre. Very pituresque beach environment with kids playing in the sea and exercising on the beach, fishermen working in their pirogues and women selling their handicrafts. The restaurant serves superb food!

Beautiful, small and private hotel with an exceptional style, located right at the beach. The staff is lovely, the food is prepared fresh and of high quality.

“The vacation was everything we wanted, we experienced the real Senegal people and culture.”

We got to stay in a hotel on the beach within a couple of feet of the sea, the hotel was very funking in its culture style. The surrounding area was the real Senegal with real people. The owner and staff could not have be more accommodating if they tried, (it was natural and not forced on them). No tvs no loud music just the sound of the sea, wind and birds. What more could you want from a holiday.
