I have been there before the location is ok near the centre and is large and on a fair bit of land but lake is more of a pond and has a swimming pool

“Peaceful overnight”
I stay at the hotel once a year when on Western Uganda. Stayed 2 days before and this on the way back. It is a lovely oasis. Very comfortable good food. The staff are excellent, the location is great. Can sit on the balcony overlooking the lake and lawn. I just enjoy my stay

“Peaceful stop over”
I have stayed here before a number of times. Outstanding hotel for Uganda. A lovely oasis. Calm peaceful. Good rooms and shower. Nice balcony overlooking lake and lawns. Food is very good. Delicious pizza. Safe and secure. I always try and arrange to stay when annually visiting western Uganda

“No longer what it used to be, sadly going downhill.”
Lake View Resort Hotel is in an acceptable location and within acceptable reach of the city. For Ugandans the breakfast was a feast, but being a stupid mzungu I had to ask for pancakes or anything not savoury, and my wife had to ask for a boiled egg — and then it took a looooong time.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was served according to my request. I specifically asked for a breakfast that included fiber and protein. I explained my preferences to the restaurant attendants, and the chef prepared the meal as closely to my menu as possible
