Magnificent view in the terrace, stay in the calm and at the same time a few minutes walking from the center

I had the worst experience in this hotel. First I found it difficult to find a cab to reach the place and the hotel staff could not help me find a driver the day of the check in. On my second and last night, I found the gate closed at 1 am. I have tried to call the reception but none answered. I ended up hanging around in j the forest on a scooter alone at night and never managed to get in. I had to sleep in another place. The staff did not inform me that the main entrance was closed at night although I knew I had a scooter to park.

Great size of bungalow, great hospitality

“Peaceful oasis”

We were staying in the bungalow with a sea view and it was wonderfully peaceful. The views were breathtaking. The staff were very nice. It is a short walk uphill from the town, but it's definitely worth it for the views and the quiet. Still only about a 10-15min to the closest beach.

“Quiet location but a steep 10 minutes climb from main road”

Good size room (we had 4 beds plus a cot for two!), and functional ac and fan. Distance from town (see below) does at least guarantee peace and quiet, so if you don’t mind the schlep up it could be a good option, but overall we found it disappointing and in need of some care and attention from owners.

Very close to the beach and main strip but far enough up the hill that it’s quiet. Private bathroom with soaps was great. Nice view out to the scenery. Pretty basic room with ceiling fan, but fine for a few nights.

Good location up on the hill, bit of a walk but nice to be away from the centre of town. Lovely and accomodating staff, room was super big and spacious

“Homey location in Mazunte”

I didn’t expect to have an en suite living room and kitchen. The view is gorgeous and it’s quite. Señor Gonzalo and his wife made me feel super welcomed while remaining discreet. The mosquito nets and the fans were the perfect combo for breezy nights. I liked being uphill (although it requires to be in shape) and away from the animation of the center. A home away from home

+ Location - very top of the hill up behind Mazunte beach, so it was very peaceful and had stunning views + family owned, nice people + few people around so you can get away from the beach buzz at the end of the day + hot water in the shower, if you need it

Overall ok for the price. Slightly rude staff accusing us of making too much noise. Funny seeing as we got in at 11pm went straight to sleep and then left again at 7:30am. Not the easiest to get to, taxi driver got confused and never heard of it. A lot of steps to get up but great views once you’re there.

beautiful location. views of the sea. thoughtful design. kitchen on site if you need and lovely dinning area and other shared communal areas you can have breakfast with an amazing view. the room was lovely and clean. good shower. really comfortable bed! good shower too. staff were really helpful.

Really nice place a little bit outside of town (10 min walk uphill from centre) Very quiet and peaceful Our room was basic but adequate. The couple who run the place are very kind and sweet.

The hospitality and kindness shown to me by Gonzalez and his wife was wonderful. Even though I spoke no Spanish Gonzalez made an effort to help with Google translate. Nothing was too much trouble. The views were gorgeous, my room was cool in the evening, regularly cleaned and I can recommend the breakfasts. A wonderful stay. Thank you both so much.
