“a dream! amazing value for money”

The property is between san agustinillo and muzunte which means you have two options for beach, the outside kitchen is amazingly stocked with everything you need to cook meals/ make coffee. They cleaned our room, supplied water and even had tupawares so we could make a pack lunch which I thought was so thoughtful. The hosts Jason and Adrian were extremely welcoming and accommodating and made us feel at home straight away. The bed is really comfy, lying in the hammock in the morning was a dream listening to the birds and there were two options for fans and air con in the room so we have options for keeping cool in the evening. The only negative for us was leaving!

The location is a bit of a walk from the center of Mazunte, which has the benefit that it is very quit :) The staff is more than a joy, Adrian and his crew were very kind, nice and helping, e.g. he ordered our taxi back to Pochutla and took care of our luggage for the whole day. The equipment of the room was alright and the a/c powerful.

The place is beautiful, well situated, spacious and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly helpful. They even let us checkout super late as we had a night bus.

The room and the outdoor space are both beautiful. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock and reading. There is also a table and a desk so I was able to get work done. It's a great place to relax.

“The best place to stay in Mazunte!”

This was easily the best property I stayed in during my time in Latin America. It’s in a beautiful quiet little area halfway between Mazunte and San Agustinillo. It’s about 20 mins walk to either beach, but you can also rent a bike directly from the hotel to get around for just 350mxn a day. Adrian is super welcoming, kind, and helpful, going over and above to provide a great service and a lovely calm environment. He cleaned the room every single day, and even left a fresh coconut in the fridge in my room one day as a surprise. 100% recommend.

We loved staying at Adrian's place, Casa Aquila. The studio was really great, and Adrian is an amazing host. We ended up staying six days, three more than planned. We felt at home!

Best location in Mazunte right between Mazunte and San Augustanillo minutes away from Hridaya yoga very quiet and peaceful, and beautiful. I just loved my stay. Adrian is fast to respond, changed my faucet immediately and was super helpful and friendly. The place is excellent. I will come again on ny next trip back for sure. Thanks so much for the warm hospitality!

“A jungle based haven!”

Our room was so spacious, we loved the outdoor terrace with kitchen and a hammock!! It was a very relaxing place to stay and felt very secluded. Adrian went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay in Mazunte. All staff are very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you!!!

“Great property in quiet location and within walking distance to town”

Great property in lovely and quiet location but still close enough to walk to anywhere in Mazunte. Very helpful staff and friendly dog and cat :) We had a very comfortable stay! Great kitchen facilities, clean and the hosts provided us with drinking water! WiFi was strong. We had ceiling fan and standing fan in our bedroom, which kept the room cool. We would definitely come back!

Lovely facilities, staff is super attentive and available. Cleaned the room every day. I was welcomed with fresh coconuts, felt at home right away. Close to the center by foot while very quiet. The Casa is perfect, there is all your need and it's very cosy. The sun hits the terrace in the morning so afternoon aren't too warm. The light is beautiful. I will be back

It was so quiet, very peaceful and a wonderful sleep. Close to the beach and main street (10-15 min walk). Adrian was very attentive. Offered daily cleaning, supplies (water, tp) as needed. Called us a taxi. Internet was excellent👍 An actual whistling kettle was a bonus to boil water for tea 😍 Provided kitchen essentials, and thank you for the black pepper👌

It was just perfect. Close to the beach (10 mins) but up in jungle part so away from the business of the town. Adrian the owner is fantastic, I felt so at home. Great internet, good work space, lovely outdoor kitchen, very safe and easy to get to. There is a paved road lit with lights on the walk up which is quite new. I think some reviews said about a bad road up to the place but this isn’t the case anymore. Cars can get up easily as can taxis and buses. It’s a proper road now. Adrian’s staff carried my bags up and helped with taxis/buses etc. I was a solo traveller and I felt very happy here. Close to nature but also really comfortable. The place is cleaned every day! Amazing. I will definitely stay here again when I’m next back.

I liked the style of the house, the space is big and get clean everyday by the staff. The house is in a quiet part of Mazunte, but still close from everything. The owner is really friendly. Wi-Fi work good!
