Villa Serenta is a charming boutique hotel in the old town district, with dozens of great restaurants and shops within an easy walk. The rooftop patio is the perfect location to watch the sunset and have a quiet time away from the crowds, while the small pool below is great for cooling off.

Full sized and equipped apartment. Plazuela Machado 2 blocks away with the Cathedral, Centro Mercado and beach short walks away. Completely different experience than staying in the Zona Dorada.

Marta, her nieces & Miguel were excellent. Very friendly, accommodating, helpful & responsive to any requests. Love the guests who come for several winter months. Very friendly, welcoming & inclusive and have good tips about what to do and see. And love getting to know them at daily happy hours. These people and the location of Villa Serena are the reason we have stayed 3 times in the past. Although we emailed Andrea before this trip, we were told that we must go through booking.com. Despite coming for a month, we were charged the full daily rate. No discount to stay a month! We understand that guests who return every year should pay less. However expecting guests to pay 2.25 times more is ridiculous I’m very sad that we and the other couple who travelled with us (2 units) will not be returning as a result

We were at Villa Serena and the staff were very friendly and the guests as well, we meet a very nice people. We enjoyed a lot the location close to many great amenities, we walked everywhere and enjoyed a lot the colonial style of the area. The Hotel is beautiful design.

The location was perfect within walking distance of pretty much everything. Room was clean and bathroom is modern and has good water pressure. Bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. Lots of areas within the complex to sit outside. Staff members Marta and Deisy were terrific both were friendly and accommodating.

The location is superb, perfectly suited my needs. I prefer to be able to shop at the market and cook some of my own meals, and this had what I needed. Was missing a microwave, asked for one, and got one. Cute spot, friendly people.

Villa Serena was a safe, clean, friendly accommodation for my three week stay. The staff were exceptional in responding to any issues that arose. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on, and the shower had good pressure and heat. I would definitely stay again.

The staff did my washing for me without charging.

I liked the location. It was an easy walk to the malecón, nice restaurants and coffee shops.

Beautiful old home with lovely pool and beautiful plants. Staff very nice. Comfortable bed, but pretty fake bedside lamps did not work. Had to turn lights on and off from the door.

The location is great. Staff were amazing from the first touch, my husband had an online meeting, they let us have an  early check in . Wasn't expecting 40 units!! Did not at all felt crowded to me. Maybe because we were on the third floor above the jacuzzi but still.Room was pre cooled, so it was nice, clean and cozy. no cooled water thou.Nice little pool, great for cooling down.

The property is extremely well appointed, comfortable and quiet. It was extremely hot during our stay and the pool was a welcome addition. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is an easy walk to the malecon and beach front and very close to some excellent restaurants.
