Overview
La Villa de Mazamet dates from 1934 and is set within a landscaped garden with a swimming pool. It offers views of the Montagne Noire mountain range and has a wellness centre with a sauna and a hot tub. Mazamet Train Station is just 200 metres away and Mazamet-la-Barouge Golf Club is 5 km from the property. Central Castres is a 20-minute drive away and Carcassonne Airport is reached by car in 50 minutes.

“We can’t wait to return to Villa de Mazamet”
Lovely house, close to town centre, restaurants and shops. Swimming pool was great, gardens beautifully maintained. Geoffrey and Janice were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Breakfast plentiful and the dinner was superb - best chocolate soufflé ever!! Great wine list. Bedroom and bathroom were big, clean and very comfortable. If you have a car it’s a good area from which to explore other towns and villages.

“The perfect venue to spend our wedding anniversary”
Geoffrey and Janice were the most attentive hosts and they couldn't do more for us. They literally catered to our ever need including booking us a table at a restaurant, preparing us a vegan breakfast, offering us a glass of blanquette by the pool when we arrived, finding a safe place for us to leave our bikes, leaving us an adaptor plug in the room in case we didn't have one... and so much more. It really was next level customer service -above and beyond. The property is stunning and the grounds immaculate.

Lovely historic hotel with very well appointed room. Building was beautiful inside and out. The hosts was charming and very friendly. Nice breakfast. Safe place for bikes in garage.

Beautifully renovated charming Mazamet town house. Everything was high quality, from the welcome, through the food to the decoration and furnishing of the bedrooms. Being able to dine in the pretty garden was also a bonus. Will definitely return.
