“Disappointing”

We left this property with a bitter taste, and it’s all due to our host. During the first 3 days of our stay, it was extremely cold inside (during the night radiators were cold, not even hand worm). When we pointed this out, the owner told us to drink some tea and put on an extra layer of clothing because "that’s how it is in Austria." I want to point out that this is the fifth time we’ve come to Austria (three times to Obertauern and once to Zell am See), and aside from never having been cold, we’ve never encountered a host with such a hostile attitude toward their guests. After persistent requests, slammed doors in our faces, and threats to throw us out because two of our friends entered in the central heating room just to check the temperature, our host finally showed some mercy, and during the last two days of our stay, she turned up the heat a bit more. I also want to mention that I would not recommend this property to families with children, because here, children of aged 2 and up are considered adults and will be charged accordingly.

“Lovely apartment for a family holiday in Mayrhofen”

Spacious apartment, good facilities, quiet location. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly owners next door were very helpful. 2 Balconies catch the sun beautifully. Pleasant walk into town was 20 minutes, but if desired, the buses are frequent and there is a supermarket just around the corner. And the butterflies are amazing on the plum tree.
