Located on the shore of Lake Achen, Familienresort Buchau offers an outdoor and an indoor pool, a varied activity programme for children on 6 days a week, professional child care, and an all-inclusive arrangement. WiFi access is free of charge throughout the building. In winter, Familienresort Buchau offers ski rental, a sports shop and a children’s ski school and a snow playground. 3 family-friendly ski areas are easily reachable with a free ski bus. You have access to 160 km of cross-country ski runs and 150 winter hiking tracks starting right from the hotel. The all-inclusive arrangement comprises a breakfast buffet, a vitamin bar, a lunch snack, a cake buffet and snacks in the afternoon, and dinner with a special children's buffet. Hotel Buchau features a 20,000 m² outdoor adventure world with a pirate ship and a go-kart track, a 1,000 m² indoor play area with a bouncy castle, a holiday ranch offering riding on horses and ponies, and comprehensive baby equipment. A terrace, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool with outdoor access and a children’s pool with a waterslide and a children's hot tub are available. The spa area has a Swiss stone pine sauna, a bio sauna with chromotherapy, a saline steam bath, an infrared cabin, a cold water basin, and a relaxation room with panoramic views and an open fireplace. Massages, beauty baths and cosmetic treatments are offered. Children's spa treatments are also available. There is a private beach on the lakeshore, with a water sports school, a sunbathing lawn, and a beach bar. Soccer facilities and school as well as a volleyball court, a children's playground, a go-kart rack are featured. Sailing and kite surfing is also possible. A natural swimming pond can also be used.

Excellent location by the Achensee lake. We hotel has a portion of the lake in its area and we can swim there. All facilities are great , food is amazing and kids activities exceeded our expectations.

“fun!”
The water slide and pool are fun. the sauna and wellness area are very nice. I loved that the adult meals are a plated menu (not buffet).

“Lovely family hotel!”
Breakfast was very good. I wish there was a little more cold meats that were not pork to cater to people who dont eat it. But there were Many other options to choose from. The staff was lovely and the playground and pool area were excellent! There were lot of classes for the children And the tablet in the rooms were very easy to use and very handy! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back!
