Overview
With garden views, Sitatunga Camp is located in Maun and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. This recently renovated campground features a building dating back to 1998, which is 15 km from the Nhabe Museum. The campground features a rooftop pool with a fence, along with open-air bath and free WiFi. The units at the campground are equipped with a seating area. With a private bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and free toiletries, certain units at the campground also provide guests with a balcony. At the campground, all units have bed linen and towels. There is a snack bar, and packed lunches are also available. For guests with children, the campground provides outdoor play equipment. The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The nearest airport is Maun Airport, 15 km from Sitatunga Camp.

“Group experience”
The facility is close to all important amneties like Okovango delta and Moremi game reserve and also very close to shopping facility. The facility is superb for group bookings. The pool and braai are is beautiful.

The communal cooking facilities are very good, with a gas hob and oven and large refrigerators. There is an inviting swimming pool reserved for chalet occupants.

The bedding was dirty, the rooms smelt quite bad like the toilet was back venting and the rooms were not used or aired out for weeks. It had a musty dirty smell that irrated my sinuses and left us all very uncomfortable. The road to the camp site was in a atrocious condition and it was raining.

“A very pleasant stay with Tom and staff looking very well after us.”
The camp manager Tom and his staff were especially helpful. Day trips to the Delta and Moremi Game reserve were arranged for us at reasonable rates. The camp is situated in a very pretty setting especially the tall trees. The dining area is set on a deck overlooking the camp. Special mention must be made of Melani who helped sort out a few things for us.

This was a great location for our trip. the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were great and it was perfect to have comfortable sofas to sit and relax. The bar area was great too and the food delicious. we had a most enjoyable stay and would highly recommed!
