Rebranded and opened from May 2015, Nest Hotel Matsuyama offers simple yet functional accommodation with free WiFi access in public areas. Guests here can enjoy shopping at the Okaido Shopping Arcade just 5-minutes away on foot or soak in the hot spring at the Dogo Onsen area which is a 10-minute drive away. Many dining options including Japanese, Italian and French cuisines are available within a walking distance. Okaido and Katsuyamacho Train Stations on the Iyo Railway can both be reached within a 10-mintue walk while the Matsuyama Airport is a 23-minute drive from the property. With a 24-hour front desk, Matsuyama Nest Hotel offers free luggage storage and daily cleaning service. Drinks can be purchased from the vending machine on site. Each air-conditioned room is equipped with a fridge, an electric kettle and a desk. The private bathroom comes with a bathtub, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Guests can enjoy satellite channels on the flat-screen TV. The on-site restaurant is open for breakfast. The breakfast buffet offers Western and Japanese dishes.

Lovely hotel. They brought us clean towels every day. There was a kettle, a small fridge, and a bath. Close to a big shopping street with food, and it is easy to get to the trams. A little further from the main train station, but as it is nearer to most attractions that is worth it. Also right next to a familymart and a lawsons.

The hotel is close to a tram stop (勝山町), so it is easy to visit the major tourist attractions in the city (JR Matsuyama station & Matsuyama City Station). We traveled from Matsuyama Tourist Port which is located in the outskirts of the city. However, the transportation is convenient. The breakfast, an additional fee, was good, including Japanese and western foods. The hotel offers a free bicycle within 3-hour ride. We enjoyed our ride on a sunny day along the river.

The staff were friendly, they had parking ( we paid ¥1000 over night). They also provide restaurant options close by.

“Shabby and warm out, mouldy smelly bathroom; bad functioning toilet”
The bathroom was mouldy and smelled bad; after flashing the toilet => the water would run forever and produce a noise… the carpets were with stains; it all looked shabby and worn out; It was a whole happiness that the bedsheets (I must be fair) were clean
