Dogo no Yado Katsuragi is located right by Dogo Onsen Honkan. It features public hot spring baths and Japanese-style rooms with beds or traditional futon bedding. “Amazing stay, would definitely choose again”
Great location! Hotel has onsen and additionally you can use the neighbour hotel’s onsen in the 11th floor. They have foot massage machine! Lovely japanese style. Helpful and friendly staff.

“Wonderful relaxing bathing, comfortable beds, excellent decor.”
The room was spotless and beautiful, being up the hill and just a block it so away from it we could see the Dogo Onsen building from our room and from the staircase window. Various sizes of yukata wear for wearing while walking around town in after bathing were easily found by the elevator on the room levels Access to the two sister hotel’s baths was a treat, I particularly enjoyed the rooftop outdoor bath. Note the men’s and women’s sides switch from evening to morning for a different bathing experience in the morning. The coffee machine in the lobby of the sister hotel across the street made my morning complete. Overall great value for money especially with the current USD/JPY rate.
