Overview
Open from 2015, Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo offers female only and mixed dormitory rooms with free WiFi. Dogo Onsen Station is a 4-minute walk away. Each bunk bed in the dormitory rooms come with a curtain to secure your privacy. Bathroom facilities and toilets are shared with other guests. Guests can cook their own meals in the shared kitchen with free-use kitchenware and seasonings. There is no laundry facility on site, however, guests can take a 10-minute stroll to a nearby public coin launderette. The nearest super market is a 5-minute walk away, while the nearest convenience store is just a 2-minute walk from Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo. The property is a 40-minute bus ride from Matsuyama Airport and Matsuyama Tourist Port. Matsuyama Castle is a 15-minute train ride away.

Well-located hostel with very kind and attentive staff. One thing I really appreciated was the thin blankets for sleeping. I often struggle to sleep with a thick duvet during the hot summer months so having something lighter was a definite plus! 🙏

“Helpful staff, in a great location, with a chilled out social area : )”
It’s located next to the Onsen, and the no 5 tram from the main Matsuyama train station terminates here. Simples! Shempie was friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough for his guests. He intervened and got us a table at the busy restaurant opposite. He also forwarded on my credit card, and wouldn’t take any payment for the time and trouble that he put into posting it to my current hostel. So grateful, thanks again : )

“Adorable guesthouse near Dogo Onsen”
Very cute and comfortable guesthouse. Downstairs is with a kitchen, reception and seating area. And upstairs are rooms with 2 showers. Super close to the historical bath Dogo Onsen. Very friendly staff.

“Great value and high quality hostel”
Shinpei is a really great host and you feel welcomed from the get-go. The location is peaceful and a short walk from the onsen and tram station, making it very convenient for travelling in and out of the Matsuyama city centre. There is a nice common space on the ground floor suitable for socialising, and also free tea and coffee.

Very cute guesthouse. The host is kind and helpful. Amazing location in Dōgo onsen. Tram connection to Matsuyama's train stations is good, so it works great for dagtrips to the region as well.
