The staff is super friendly, the bartender is really funny and the place is really unique

Very friendly staff

The Owner, Den, helped me a lot as the screen of my IPhone was broken . He tried to find the Shop and contacted them to repair my iPhone . He also guided me how to go . I am much appreciated . He and his staffs are so nice and performed well service .

Lovely staff. Japanese feel. Nice cosy bar downstairs. Unfortunately didn't get to tase the home made beer. Parking 3 mins walk . cost 500 Yen obtained at bar inside.

Warm and welcoming friendly staff, amazing home made beer, great local knowledge to walk down and grab some yummy food for dinner. Great location for us as we had a car. This was perfect for us as a family of four for a one night stay.

Brewery in premises and good beers from there in bar. Bar was cozy and regulars were very nice. Sleeping quarters were just after bar.

Atypical place to stay. They brew good beers! They were really helpful and made me feel welcome. Comfortable enough for 1 night stay on Ohenro. My japanese room was fine and they offer earplugs to prevent the noise from the bar

Such a lovely, warm atmosphere and the hosts were the nicest people. They brew their own beer and it's a great opportunity to chat to locals at the bar. Room was super comfortable and lovely. Would 100% stay again!

Decent size room with AC, really comfortable bed and pillow. Coffee and tea available.

We had an amazing stay at Bakushuku Den Guest House. Not only is the place itself very nice and clean, but we also felt very welcomed by the host. There is a small brewery run by the host, so we were able to enjoy a glass of delicious draft beer made right there. Thank you for having us – we would definitely come back!

Den was an amazing host and helped us out with bookings further along the Shikoku pilgrimage. The beer he brews is the best (we tried the entire menu) and the locals are very welcoming!

A really lovely place the stay. The hosts, Den and Nao, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is very good, with plenty of places to eat.

I got a whole room to myself. It's a bit pricey even though it was the cheapest option at the time. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Close to train station and shops! They also have a bar which is a plus if you love beer

“Guest House with added beer!!”

What a great guest house! I wanted to visit Shikoku, and came across this place to stay in a small place, a few miles from the busy main town. The whole experience of staying there was fabulous; a comfortable room, well-stocked kitchen and, of course, an excellent on-site micro-brewery where I was able to spend each evening, sampling the craft beers and chatting to some interesting fellow guests. A lovely, lovely place, which I'd happily return to at some point. With special thanks to Den, the owner, for ensuring that I got to the ferry on the morning of my departure - thank you!
