“Great hotel in a blandish city”
The hotel was located opposite the city park, which made it a useful landmark to reach the hotel. The customer service and cleaning service was excellent. I enjoyed eating their buffet breakfast, which was healthy. The room was clean and very spacious but......

“Old design, solid Hotel”
Overall a solid hotel. However you can't expect modernity here. My single room was quite small which is not a problem. Mattress is comfortable and takes up the majority of the space in the room.

““Great location and friendly staff, but the hotel feels outdated and overpriced”
The hotel is very well located, directly across from Matsuyama Castle park, making it convenient for sightseeing. It is also within walking distance of Ōkaidō and about 15 minutes on foot from the station. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the surrounding area is quiet, which makes for a pleasant stay.

“Nice hotel and friendly staff”
I think the location in general is fine but seems is a quiet area and not much restaurant opening that late there. The breakfast is OK have choices to pick and some dishes are different in the next day. I am not sure if there are other entrance to Matsuyama castle, but the cable car facility to go up to the castle is on the east side so basically it will take around 25 minutes walk from the hotel or can utilise the public transport/taxi. I drove to there so no issue. The room is very nice and clean. The hotel staff are also attentive to my needs and polite.

“Comfy beds!”
The beds are super comfortable & the location is beside a beautiful park w swans & carp plus there is a handy 711 across the street. Staff ARE so kind, helpful & we see it! L

“Beautiful view from my room and the location made getting about Matsuyama easy. Staff exceptional.”
The location was great with the JR railway station in walking distance and a straightforward walk to the main tram stop. My room faced Matsuyama Castle and the beautiful walking path along the remains of the moat. My room was quite big, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very helpful especially regarding which trams to catch.

“Mellow In Matsuyama”
This was the first time I had visited Matsuyama. One of the reasons I enjoy Japan is the level of service that I experience everywhere. I was so tired from my travels. I was greeted by a trainee and she was so gracious. She spoke English and got me checked in so quickly. My room was so lovely. It looked out over the park across the street. the area was relatively quiet but a bit busy with traffic. The room was small but comfortably appointed. I liked the fact that I could open the window as I tend to keep warm. I slept like a baby. I needed a place to relax and just unwind - disconnect. I was able to find a grocery strore that was 5 minutes away. I got everything I needed and even an umbrella for the rain.
